Rib boats are becoming increasingly more numerous and more boat-looking. Size is no longer sufficient to impress buyers and spectators and therefore needs additional details. Sometimes, RIBs even lose their inflatable nature without renouncing their floats and become “hybrid” for further interesting developments. In this case, we’ve chosen 10 representatives of the “Med Boat” category, from 10 to 16 meters in length, interpreted according the style, functions and small fixations (outboards, for example, are still the most appreciated engines even on bigger models) of those who were once named “inflatable boats”.
The Zar 95 Sport Luxury is the new flagship of the line of the same name. perfect even for a weekend, this model features a renovated deck, with a center console/ bow rider layout. The night area consists of a cabin with a separate bathroom, whose headroom is such that it requires no contortions. The v-hull supports sporty performance and is equipped with exclusive lateral “tunnels”.

The Cayman 38 executive is the new flagship of the Italian shipyard, offered in three different versions: open, soft and hardtop. Powered by twin Suzuki 350hp engines, she can travel at over 50 knots and support even a third engine. as for construction, Ranieri hulls benefit from the use of a special glue that remains soft in order to better amortize navigation shocks. The Rebel 47 is the biggest model of the line of the same name. The boat is somewhere in between a rib, of which it maintains floats (no inflatable but made of foam and asymmetric in order to provide the deck with additional space) and an open boat. Lines are aggressive outside and comfortable inside, where we find two cabins (one in the bow and another in the middle of the boat), both with a double bed.

The Capelli Tempest 50 is the biggest model of the luxury line family: sporty hull and incredible power, supported by four outboards, 425 hp each. The deck features a classic layout, with two sun pads and a teak cockpit. Noteworthy is the double side access to the second cabin: two plexiglass doors lead to the day area: this consists of a galley with induction plates and a 65 l fridge and, opposite, a dinette with a table that can turn into an additional bed.

The Black shiver 160 is equipped with an open space cabin with separate bathroom and can be fitted with three seven outboards, 627 hp each. Construction is based on an extensive use of glass fibre, kevlar and vinylester. as typical for Novamarine, D-shaped floats are not inflatable but made of a special closed-cell foam. The hardtop protects the driving console and the cockpit. The forward area is totally dedicated to sunbathing.
