As a Jet Ski, it is… just super. As a tender it is… really original.
Vanquish Yachts created and presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival the Water Scooter-Yacht combination that no one had ever imagined before.
The Vanqraft VQ16 is a 16′ super jet ski that combines the comfort and luxury of a superyacht tender with the adrenaline and fun of a 200 hp jet ski.
If $90,000 for the basic version or $106,000 for the Veloce version is not a brake, then nothing can stop you: the pilot rides the Vanqraft VQ16 with his Jet Ski’s handlebar, while up to 5 passengers can enjoy a pleasant navigation with all the comforts on the dedicated seats and on the long helm.
The designers of Vanquish Yachts wanted to have fun, or they thought about the fun of their customers/owners.
The 1.8 litre Yamaha jet engine has the “attributes”: 200 hp for a speed of 40 knots. The Veloce turbocharged version even reaches 50 knots.
If the performance is that of a racing Jet Ski, the look is that of a Vanquish yacht.
The design of the VQ16 is the result of a collaboration between Guido de Groot Design and Studio Delta. The result is a watercraft that is perfectly suited to be used as a tender.
In fact, the jet drive is built flat into the hull, so that the VQ16 can be easily housed in the yacht’s tender garage.
