43Wallytender has opened a new chapter in the history of the brand that is now part of the Ferretti Group. Presented last year with inboard propulsion, this model is now back in the limelight in the X version with a three outboard propulsion system designed to meet the needs of those seeking even higher performance. This says a lot about the level of attention paid to the development of this model.

«Thanks to Wally’s stylistic heritage and 25 years of relentless research in the field of innovation, the team has rethought the central part of the boat and its use, creating a new central cockpit concept. At the same time, we have once again succeeded in evolving our offering to satisfy the owners of today and tomorrow, raising the standards of the day boat» said Wally Managing Director Stefano de Vivo. This work of research and experimentation also involved Luca Bassani, founder of the Monaco-based brand and now Chief Designer of the brand.

«We have worked tirelessly to create a tender that meets the needs of today’s owners while remaining true to the Wally design philosophy. On board, every element has a precise function, expressed in its purest, simplest and most beautiful form» added Mr. Bassani. Functionality and aesthetics. Or to put it better, form and function. These are the guidelines around which the design of the 43wallytender was developed.

The starting point was the precious indications provided by the owners of the Wally tenders, whose involvement proved to be fundamental in introducing some important innovations: starting with the choice of protecting the cockpit on three sides amidships with a tempered glass windscreen with central radius without the use of uprights. Furthermore, the entire surface of the central cockpit benefits from a carbon fibre T-top enhanced by the presence of laminated sailcloth for greater protection.

The option of covering the surface of the T-top with a solar panel is left open so as to be able to count on an additional supply of charge for the generator and the Seakeeper gyro stabilizer. The significant versatility of the 43Wallytender is highlighted by the deck layout which can be configured in a number of different ways depending on its end use. In fact, in the best Wally tradition, this boat can be used as a chase boat for large yachts, a service tender for hotels, a dayboat or daycruiser or as a racing support for maxi sailing yachts.

One of the most popular options is a large sundeck in the stern, under which diving equipment, the SeaBob or anything else needed to experience the sea in a dynamic way can be stored. When the boat is at anchor, the stern section becomes the heart of conviviality on board, further enhanced by the possibility of extending this area by lowering the side walls. Going down to the water or to the quayside and coming back on board is made easy, despite the presence of outboard engines, thanks to the presence of a retractable ladder/gangway positioned at the stern.

In the bow there is an additional sundeck which is easily accessible thanks to the side-decks and is the ideal place to enjoy an open-air experience while sailing. There is also a spacious air-conditioned cabin with a sleeping area and separate toilet.

43wallytender X – Perfomance

As for performance, the standard version is powered by three Verado outboards, 300 HP each,  which deliver a top speed of 40 knots. When fitted with three Verado 450HP engines, instead, the boat can reach a maximum speed of 50 knots.

The sporty soul of this 13-meter boat is further emphasized by the special V-hull design and the use of cutting-edge materials, such as composite and carbon fiber.

Last but not least, the 43Wallytender was developed with the precious support of the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. An important added value for a model destined to make its mark.
