Before it was just a trend, now it’s a consolidated reality. The barbecue is no longer made in the garden, but in the boat, at anchor in the roadstead! It’s no coincidence that many yards now have an integrated grill set in the cockpit. There are many solutions for succulent grilled meat and fish on board, from a few euros up to sets from real barbecue professionals. We’ve gone hunting for the most interesting ones and here are five products for you, from 9.99 to 336 euros.

CASUS GRILL / ECO-BARBECUE

If you are a “green” sailor, you can’t do it by hand at Casus Grill, the new ecological and biodegradable disposable barbecue: it’s made exclusively with natural materials. It heats up quickly and is ready to cook in just 5 minutes. Casus Grill uses bamboo carbon, insulating lava stones, natural bamboo packaging and cardboard packaging. It costs 9,99 euro www.casusgrill.com

POP-UP GRILL / BARBECUE PIEGHEVOLE

This is an award-winning folding model for its ease of use. It has three feet that ensure stability and the grill can also be used as a “stove” with which you can make coffee, put to heat the pan and much more. It comes in a handy shoulder bag and is covered with an ultra-resistant paint that protects it even at the highest temperatures. It weighs only 1.3 kilos and costs 37.95 euros. www.relags.de

CAMPINGAZ PARTY GRILL / MULTIFUNCTION BARBECUE

Party Grill CV is a multifunctional gas barbecue: you can cook on the grill, on the non-stick plate or directly on the flame. It is therefore an alternative to the traditional stove and charcoal. Easy to clean and practical to transport, most of its components are dishwasher safe. It costs 43.90 euros. www.obelink.it

LOTUS GRILL / BARBECUE PORTATIL

Lotus Grill is the first portable charcoal barbecue with no harmful fumes. Inside the barbecue there is a container in which you will place the charcoal, to be ignited using a gel provided by Lotus. The airflow is from bottom to top: the barbecue takes the cold air from underneath which, passing between the charcoal, becomes hot and is distributed on the grill. It costs about 240 euros. www.lotusgrill.de/it

Made of polished stainless steel with stainless steel radiant grill, all its components are connected to each other to prevent falls into the sea. The cover can be positioned as a windshield.
