Longing, for the sea, longing for freedom. Enjoying summer away from the crowds and restrictions of beaches is possible, even at a low expense. These small cabin cruisers with 2 or 4 berths, plus a bathroom and kitchenette are ideal for first-time cruisers and low budgets.
Among used day cruisers, that is, boats designed for a day at sea with all the comforts, there is no shortage of offerings between 8 and 10 meters, and there is something to meet every need. Comfortable and convenient because they are registration-free, they range from classic to sporty, from one designed for the family to one ideal for a young couple.
An eight-meter that “dresses” like a larger boat. It lacks nothing in comfort, versatility and attention to detail. Plus there is the special hull that improves navigation by damping vibration and noise. Everything appears well cared for on the Azure 275 Cruiser: the quality of materials such as their workmanship, from fiberglass to upholstery, is excellent, but what is most striking is the ability to make life aboard more comfortable and practical.
The boat brings together many solutions that are designed for the entire Azure range. Many, but not all; in fact, its hull differs by a 17.5° aft angle, while the 42° deep bow V is common to all. Added to this is the Sound Soppression System, a configuration of the hull, starting from the center of the V down to the skids, to manage water release without creating vibration and noise.
The ascent is facilitated by the aft dashboard, which is far too generous in size and concealing. The central element of the cockpit consists of a settee, behind which is another mirrored one facing aft; lowering the backrest that sits in the middle joins the two seats and the whole thing is transformed into a large sundeck.
Brackets for an additional seat are cut out on the starboard broadside, and by rotating the driver’s seat and fitting the special table normally folded on the broadside, a dinette is created, which also has a small galley area directly opposite on the port broadside.
Below deck there are four beds with a fair amount of privacy, a bathroom worthy of the name, and a full kitchenette is truly to be commended. The forward dinette has the center table that can be lowered to create a good-sized double bed, while the pair of guests can sit in the aft cabin, which is basic but more than livable for spending a few nights aboard.

Cranchi 30 Endurance
A great little open that can attract the attentions of a large and diverse range of boaters, from those looking for a well-made open at an affordable price to those who really want a cruiser on which to spend nights aboard as well.
Much attention, in fact, must be given to the choice of engine installed, which allows not only the performance to vary, but also affects the cost of the boat. The one-engine solution can be found, with 270, 300 or 320 horsepower, or with two engines of 200 or 225 horsepower.
The cockpit is a smaller reproduction of a cruising open. It is in fact set up with an L-shaped dinette and aft sundeck, which in turn can be further extended by connecting it to the adjacent sofa seat. For this alone, the 30 Endurance deserves the most attention,
but if we analyze it in more detail we notice a large but not bulky grill cabinet, a forward sundeck with cushions and headrest, the large portholes, and the huge light point next to the entrance drum. In short, there is really nothing missing to make this boat a true cruiser, especially since it is approved in category B.
The environment below deck is really pleasant and not at all compressed; in fact, there is really a feeling of space. There are four beds plus a bathroom in a separate compartment.

Allegra Boats 7.9.0
If you think that an open of not even eight meters is not enough for you to enjoy your sea vacation, you should take a closer look at the Allegra 7.9.0 Open Day. The boat’s name, of course, is inviting, but even more so is its versatility, which, in less than 8 meters, allows it to adapt both to sports, such as diving and water skiing, and to the most intense relaxation. Inside there is room for three people
Whether it is for day trips with good company or a cruise along the coast with your partner, this open is perfect for spending many hours at sea without feeling the need to return to port. The engine is inboard.
The cockpit adapts to different lifestyles. You can appreciate the boat for water skiing and diving, thanks to the stern beach, which has enough room for preparations, and the locker in the mirror, which is very useful for storing equipment and having it handy. But there is room for some sport fishing as well, given the ease of transit to the aft swim platform and the large clear area in the cockpit, which allows you to move around quite easily at all times.
Behind the command post is a good-sized bar/kitchen cabinet equipped with a sink, stove, refrigerator, and storage compartment. An L-shaped sofa is developed in the corner between the left broadside and the transom, which is served by an adjustable-height table to create a dinette or sunbathing area.
The area below deck is suitable for two people. There is also a compartment under the cockpit with a single berth, but this is more suitable for a child than an adult, who is required to adapt. The forward bed, obtained by ntransforming the dinette, is still spacious enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and there is no lack of a bathroom in a separate compartment

Bayliner 285 SB
A cruiser with a size that perhaps best meets the demands of the day cruiser market segment, especially since this 9.50 meter is characterized by its versatility.
What one can immediately appreciate about the Bayliner 285 SB is its value of habitability and comfort, which need not necessarily be enhanced “when cruising” but can offer many intelligent and practical solutions even for those who limit themselves to “daily cruising.”
The Bayliner 285 SB was designed precisely for this dual use and as such offers a careful balance between open and covered spaces with excellent synergy between the different environments. The dead work is inevitably important to give volume to the underdeck, while the rollbar is useful to support the canopy, which allows more articulated use of the cockpit. As for the hull, the deadrise is 21°, so watch out even for sailing in rough seas.
The boat uses the experience gained from the other models (in the 8 to 10.20 m range) to offer a well-articulated cockpit with the volumes well paced according to use. It is up to the bar cabinet equipped with a sink and accommodation for the refrigerator to divide the aft dinette, which can be quickly converted into a sundeck. The dashboard provides ample space for additional equipment, while a comfortable settee runs on the starboard broadside. The classic tambour with built-in steps provides quick and safe access to the forward area, where a
solarium divided into three sections because the tientibene are quite close together.
A double bed room has been arranged for the owner in the middle of the boat, with a useful height at the entrance of more than 1.90 meters.
Sufficiently sized toilet compartment, while the kitchen cabinet provides space for all necessary equipment and also a good work surface. The dinette is on the starboard side, while a one-and-a-half berth extends to the apex of the bow.

Bazzerla Butterfly
Refined open with a classically styled aesthetic. With the Butterfly, the Bazzerla shipyard offers a sporty open, but with a vaguely retro tone.
Among its strengths, the Butterfly can boast performance. With two 250-horsepower turbodiesel engines, the boat touches 45 knots of top speed. With only one engine, however, the maximum speed is 32 knots. In any case, these are inboard-outboard thrusters.
The Butterfly is especially devoted to those who like to spend time lying in the sun. On deck, in fact, in addition to the two aft sunbathing areas, another padded area can be set up in the bow by placing the appropriate mats. There is a sofa in the cockpit that spans the entire beam and, if necessary, can be served by two fold-down tables to set up an outdoor dining area. To facilitate convenient access aboard from the swim platform, a kind of staircase was built inserted directly into the transom, creating a large step.
The interior exudes an atmosphere of classic taste, mellowed by the profusion of wood, the hue of which is set in pleasing contrast to the light-colored upholstery and fabrics of the dinette. This can be turned into a double bed. Then there is the kitchenette, set up with a refrigerator and electric stove, while the bathroom is in a separate room.
