We are less than a month away from the opening of the Boot Düsseldorf, is between parties, here are six boats between 15 and 24 meters, right up to the threshold

When you go beyond 50 feet, you enter a dimension that for many is reserved for dreams. And isn’t this the best time to dream? We are less than a month away from the opening of the Boot Düsseldorf, is between parties, here are six boats between 15 and 24 meters, right up to the threshold of the boat category. Here the boat becomes a true residence on the sea: autonomies increase and volumes allow full-beam cabins worthy of a suite.

From long-range cruisers to the sportiest for quick vacations, as always, there is something for everyone.

Aiata Sunfinder 50 | 15.6 m

After debuting in the mid-range, Aiata raises the bar with its new flagship, the Sunfinder 50. The layout is designed for outdoor living, but the extra-large t-top and dimensions allow space and volume for extended stays. The lines are taut, modern, and echo the Aiata family feeling with a square bow. At the stern, folding bulwarks transform the cockpit and outboards are covered by a sundeck to “steal” more livable space from the technical areas.

Solaris Power 70 Long Range | 21 m

The evolution of the Italian-style lobster takes another step forward with the new Solaris Power 70 Long Range, which retains the yard’s styling cues such as a straight bow and smooth lines. Once again, Solaris Power spares no effort in the pursuit of true long range hull lines, capable of keeping displacement fuel consumption down but also capable of reaching 25 knots. A hull designed to cope with formed seas, be smooth on wave passage and extremely stable.

Grand Banks 54 | 16.5 m

Grand Banks 54

Forget the old slow and heavy trawlers: the Grand Banks 54 is a concentrate of aesthetic tradition and modernity. There is an air of the great classics aboard: fine woods and craftsmanship, but also plenty of brightness so as not to weigh down the look. This hull uses the renowned V-Warp semi-displacement hull for great efficiency at low speeds while maintaining the ability to push beyond 25 knots. It is the Mediterranean version of the 54 we already know: it moves the galley from below deck to the salon, in a decidedly more European configuration, and in the cockpit the layout facilitates Italian-style moorings .

Beneteau Gran Turismo 50 | 15.7 m

Beneteau Gran Turismo 50

We discovered the new Gran Turismo range this fall at Cannes, where we saw the smaller sisters, 35 and 40. Now, at the German fair, the flagship of Beneteau’s sport-cruiser line, the Gran Turismo 50, will arrive. Aesthetically, it echoes the design seen right on the 40, with the groove that lightens the windshield and the half-moon side windows. With the increase in size, it is the interior that benefits most, gaining much more volume.

Bluegame BGX83 | 25 m

With its alternative lines, Bluegame revolutionized the market by enjoying considerable success. No wonder, then, that it continues on that path, with the new BGX83, a 25-meter crossover that will be the flagship of the entire yard, becoming the largest yacht ever built by Bluegame. The hallmark continues to be the layout of the areas, with the aft cockpit low on the water, immense beach area, sea terrace for lounge or tender garage. La continuity between environments, flowing from one another has always been one of Blueagame’s strengths.

Boarncruiser 53 Ocean | 16 m

From Holland comes a steel shuttle for those who dream of never stopping. The Boarncruiser 53 Ocean is built to sail in Category A (oceanic), offering safety and structural strength without sacrificing the soft, contemporary lines far removed from the old work hulls. One really interesting feature, however, is the use of Hull Vane technology, which is a large submerged foil at the stern that improves trim, preventing the hull from “sitting,” and reduces the wave generated at the stern, increasing efficiency.
