We grow in size compared to 8-meter vessels, but we still remain on the Boot Düsseldorf 2024 theme. The 40-footers are a buzzing market segment where we encounter many different types: miniature globetrotters, boats that look like sheiks’ supercars, but also more “normal” models even in terms of price. Let’s take a look at 6 new must-haves in ascending order from 12 to almost 14 meters.

Boot Düsseldorf 2024 – FAIRLINE TARGA 40 – 11.99 m

The coupe boat has a new milestone: it is the
Fairline Targa 40
. Its 12 meters (11.99 yards) encapsulate everything a yachtsman could want from this type of boat today, but starting from an already solid base. Which one? The Targa 38, among Fairline’s best-sellers with 300 sold. XL aft cockpit open to the sea, voluminous interior (sleeping up to 5), one bathroom only, but very large. These are some of the highlights of this hull.

SAXDOR 400 GTC

Modern design, fast fairing, mouthwatering price. What more can you ask of a 12-meter? Not much. This is the approach of Saxdor Yachts, which has already unveiled a new model in 2024: the
400 GTC
, evolution of the
Saxdor 400 GTO
. On board there are very interesting solutions such as fold-down broadside, “full-beam” deck and modular layout. What does “full beam” bridge mean? That there are no passavants. To access the forward cockpit there is a hatch (to starboard) bow-rider style.

Boot Düsseldorf 2024 – Invictus TT420S – 12.3 m

German debut for the new version of the already well-known Invictus TT420. No stern feet (and related 440hp D6 engines from Volvo Penta), but a trio of 350hp Yamaha outboard engines. The new
Invictus TT420S
will have a total of 1,050 total horsepower increasing the sportiness of the boat. At the same time, this propulsion makes it necessary to give up part of the aft platform.

SALPA 42 HT – 12.75 m

If we combine Adam Younger’s (double-step) hull with the comfort of an Italian dinghy, the result promises to be interesting. The new version of the 42, namely the HT debuted at Boot Düsseldorf 2024.

Boot Düsseldorf 2024 – Brabus SHADOW 1200 – 13 m

When the Axopar 45 made its triumphant debut, the second question was probably this: when will the “Brabusversion arrive. Well, the wait is over. Powered by three 400-horsepower Mercury V10s – 1,200 total hp, hence the name – comes the new Brabus Shadow 1200. A 13-meter bolide that was born to be the right boat next to a Mercedes 6×6. A boat not for everyone, it is certain, especially because of the price:

WISZNIEWSKI W43 – 13.85 m

Don’t let the name stop you. This shipyard has a trump card: it is the one that physically builds thousands of boats. We are talking about trendy brands like Axopar, Sea Ray and more . Now, this Polish company, has decided to make its own brand: it’s called WISZNIEWSKI and it should be kept an eye on!

At Boot Düsseldorf 2024 it debuts its model at first glance looks very interesting. It is the Wiszniewski W43 . 13.85 meters long has a beam of 3.72 meters has engines between 800 horsepower and 900 horsepower, in both cases outboard. Thanks to a mobile platform around engines, however, it does not give up this crucial space.

Features also include having one cabin. A choice, by the shipyard, that makes it less viable as a family “weekender,” but at the same time allows for a very large single cabin and a bathroom with a very voluminous true separate shower stall. The deck layout is also very interesting with the roof pillars on the gangway head, a solution that allows the entire beam to be used without sacrificing coverage.
