The segment between 10 and 15 meters continues to be the most effervescent in the market. It is the transitional size, where with just a few meters over the boat threshold, one begins to have truly enviable spaces-and especially volumes-perfect for those who want to experience the boat beyond the daily outing. Boats capable of offering mid-range cruising and superior yacht habitability. Among fast catamarans, ultralight carbon hulls and walkaround adventure boats, here are 7 new products ready to debut at the upcoming Düsseldorf Boat Show, which opens in less than a month, on January 17.
Düsseldorf 2026. Nimbus WTC 12 | 12 m
Nimbus C12
Let’s start with three boats in one: the Swedish shipyard evolves the concept introduced with the successful WTC 11 range and launches the new Nimbus WTC 12. The acronym is programmatic: WTC stands for Weekender, Tender, Commuter, summarizing in three words the extreme versatility of this hull, with three available configurations, declined now on 12.5 meters f.t. The goal is to offer a boat that is easy to live with, modular and suitable for every lifestyle, from quick displacement to a weekend at anchorage.
Compared to previous models, the new range offers even more space and volume both above and below deck, providing the comfort needed to sleep aboard.
Replacing a legend is never easy, but the new Axopar 38 was born with just that task: to evolve the best-selling Axopar 37. The Finnish shipyard has not limited itself to a restyling, but has completely overhauled the hull for more performance and better fuel efficiency, while retaining the step hull that has made the brand’s fortune.
Although the dimensions remain similar, the management of space on board has been optimized to offer a feeling of greater size and usability. Planned in classic configurations (Spyder, Sun-Top), the 38 proves to be a fun machine, capable of fast and stable sailing in all sea conditions.
Drawn from the pencil of Francesco Guida, Santasevera 42 is positioned as a refined hybrid between a pure open and a modern walkaround. The line is clean, almost classic, and perfectly echoes the brand’s style, inaugurated last year with its big sister Santasevera 52.
The highlight is the immense cockpit that slopes down to the sea, creating clutter-free access to the water, where the engine room is concealed by an island sundeck. Below the low, streamlined hard-top is the helm station and dining area, while the bow does not lack a large sundeck. It is pontooned to increase volume below deck, where there is a well-kept interior, ideal for spending a weekend at sea.
Kumbra 43 is a 13-meter walkaround that combines sporty lines with a focus on livability. The exterior design is striking for the aggressive cut of the windows and the imposing hard-top that protects the central area.
The deck plan is devoted to fluidity of movement: walkways are comfortable and connect the aft platform to the bow area unobstructed. On board there is everything you need for a day at sea: sundeck, equipped outdoor kitchen and shaded areas. This is a boat designed for those looking for a distinctive, solid craft capable of getting noticed at the dock.
Those looking for volumes impossible to find on a monohull of equal length without sacrificing sportiness should look here. TheAquila 42 Coupe is distinguished by its streamlined lines, and a deck that offers maximum usability: everything lies on one level, from the cockpit to the bowrider area in the bow, connected by a central corridor. One cabin per hull is accessed from the salon.
But it is under the waterline that is the winning weapon: a sustaining foil increases speed (up to 42 knots maximum) and lowers fuel consumption (less than 3 liters per mile in the diesel version). Available both inboard and outboard.
Nomen omen, SAY Carbon Yachts is famous for its lightweight and fast all-carbon fiber constructions. New to the line is the SAY 42 Sport version, which retains the ultra-performance, lightweight hull of the base model but revises the deck plan for more all-around use.
It is distinguished by an extended t-top, which connects with the windshield and covers almost the entire forward cockpit. The edgy, aggressive look typical of the shipyard remains, seeming to come straight from the world of super sports cars, just like the performance this hull manages to deliver.
Aiata Sunfinder 38 | 11.5 m
Düsseldorf 2026 AIATA Sunfinder 38
On the same double-redan hull as the Wayfinder debuted last year comes theAIATA Sunfinder 38, in an even more “Mediterranean” version: a pure, walkaround open, designed to experience the deck while maximizing its space.
The layout abandons the enclosed deckhouse to provide an airy, convivial cockpit: two large transverse settees face each other serving a central table, perfect for dining in the roadstead. Only the wet-bar remains under the rigid T-top behind the helm station, while forward a full-width dinette converts to a large sundeck by folding down the table.
