Simrad and Greenline Yachting produce navigation systems with solutions at the cutting edge of technology. Greenline Yachts is the world’s leading shipyard in alternative propulsion boats. Together they have entered into a strategic agreement in the yachting world to offer an unparalleled navigation experience.

Through the new agreement, Simrad electronics products will equip the entire Greenline Yacht range as standard, including the new Oceanclass 68 class launched last year.

A range of equipment options are planned, including:

  • the new NSSevo3S™ multi-touch chartplotter
  • the NSOevo3S™ integrated top of the range display
  • HALO20+ or HALO24 pulse compression radars
  • VHF and the renowned autopilots.

The navigation system will also feature a hybrid interface using the Simrad chartplotter. This unique integration, designed specifically for the Greenline HDrive system, will offer visual control of range, battery status and solar charge.

Greenline Yachts

Having introduced the first hybrid boat in 2008, Greenline has revolutionised the boating industry by making environmentally friendly boats that are also attractive, simple and affordable. Thanks to this new partnership with Simrad Yachting, Greenline boats now also benefit from the best onboard electronics, with the latest innovations including multifunction display solutions for navigation, boat monitoring, digital switching and control functionality.

James Metven, Global Head of Brand at Simrad Yachting, commented, “We aim to offer connected technology that enriches the sailing experience and we look forward to bringing this to the Greenline fleet.”

“Simrad’s marine electronics offer a connected boating ecosystem that enhances the experience at sea, but more importantly is committed to preserving the pleasure of boating for future generations,” said Luca Raumland, Head of Sales and Marketing at Greenline Yachts.
