Apreamare unveils the new Gozzo 48 Cabin: tradition, innovation and comfort without compromise
With the debut of the Gozzo 48 Cabin, Apreamare presents the new flagship of the Gozzo range, confirming its commitment to the evolution of the Sorrentine gozzo in a contemporary key. A model designed for discerning owners that blends seafaring tradition, high-level craftsmanship and design innovation, in line with the Sorrento shipyard’s philosophy. The result of Cataldo Aprea’s concept and the collaboration with Marco Casali (Too Design) for style and design, Umberto Tagliavini (Marine Design) for naval architecture and the in-house Technical Office, the Gozzo 48 Cabin rewrites the history of the Sorrentine gozzo and stands out for its elegance, functionality and solid construction.
The walkaround deck encourages relaxed and convivial outdoor living, with a large cockpit equipped with a sundeck, L-shaped sofa and modular outdoor table, also available in a retractable electric version. Forward, a second sundeck with sofa and armchairs completes the outdoor experience.
The interior offers great light, thanks to large windows, and well-proportioned spaces with fine finishes. The cozy dinette and extra-large galley stand out for their size and attention to detail, while the helm station features a seat that can be electrically converted into an additional sofa module to maximize versatility.
Below deck, the layout provides two- or three-cabin configurations, with two bathrooms and separate showers. A crew cabin with access from the cockpit is also available. From a technical point of view, the Gozzo 48 Cabin is designed to offer smooth and safe sailing, even in challenging conditions, thanks to the deep-V hull with variable geometry designed by Tagliavini. Motorization can rely on two Volvo Penta IPS 700 or 800, or, upon request, the classic shaftline with 600 hp engines.
“We are not looking for stylistic forcings or fancy solutions, but the balance between innovation, comfort and respect for tradition,” says Cataldo Aprea, president of the shipyard. The Gozzo 48 Cabin perfectly embodies this approach, offering an authentic and refined sailing experience that is true to the culture of the sea.
With this new model, Apreamare confirms its leading role on the international nautical scene, continuing a path that has lasted for almost 170 years: creating boats that last, capable of exciting and distinguishing themselves through style, substance and quality craftsmanship.
