But is this 27-meter boat really a gozzo? And if so, why? After all, it is a shuttle that, at first glance, may seem decidedly far removed from the typical lines of the goiters we see at sea, whether it is the old beach fishing gozzo or the sleek, cabin-rigged Sorrentine gozzo that makes a roadstead near us.
Here is the answer:
“For its stylish features. The rounded shape of the crowning, of the aft area, which extends into the large bridge flush with the sea. There is also the classic cut of the bow that opens upward and the hollowed out starboard. Wood inserts also play a role here, as does the central superstructure. That said, it is capable of pampering you like a seaside villa for long-range sailing.”
