Apulia and recreation. Starting tomorrow, you can fish (even in a boat)

Something is also moving in Apulia for the revitalization of boating. In an Italy with different situations, depending on the region, Puglia is moving to reopen to recreation as well, in compliance with all safety measures. Who knows, other regions may follow suit in short order, should the situation remain stable.

• Return to boats: the situation region by region

Starting tomorrow there will be OK maintenance of recreational boats. As often pointed out by boaters,“there are needs to protect assets that could be exposed to damage due to poor maintenance and preservation activities.”

Individual travel within the regional territory to reach owned boats for the performance of maintenance and repair activities by the owner or sailor with a regular employment contract, in compliance with safety regulations related to the containment of Covid-19 infection, will then be allowed no more than once a day.

In Apulia, it’s back to fishing (even by boat)

In Apulia you can fish from tomorrow, April 29 (including by boat). These will be the conditions for amateur fishing. It will then be necessary to be in compliance from the standpoint of regional regulations about the exercise of sport and recreational fishing.

• Limited to fishing both from land and in inland waters and at sea;
• carried out by a person licensed to engage in sport and recreational fishing in possession of a copy of the communication made in accordance with the Ministerial Decree of December 6, 2010;
• With no more than two persons per boat, at least one of whom is licensed, in the case of fishing in inland waters or at sea
• In compliance with current regulations on the exercise of sport and recreational fishing
