Eagle Molokai 36

The new multihull Aquila 36 Molokai is designed both as an experienced fast fisherman who seeks freedom during his offshore adventures and to the family who wants comfort for sea trips. It will make its debut at the
FLIBS
in Fort Lauderdale from Oct. 29, 2025, and is intended as a “center-console” catamaran, as was the case with the
47 Molokai
.

Eagle 36 Molokai

The 36 Molokai is designed to meet the needs of simple coastal fishing trips or transporting friends and family on day trips. The double-hull design is key, offering the exceptional stability and sailing quality that catamarans ensure and top-level anglers demand. The stability qualities of the hulls are further enhanced by the double step design, which provides superior maneuverability and speed, ensuring safe and comfortable sailing even in rough sea conditions.

The booth

What sets the 36 Molokai apart from the competition in the center console catamaran segment is its center cabin, complete with a toilet room. This feature allows you to extend the time of your outings at sea, whether you are fishing or on an excursion. With an optional off-grid lithium battery pack (recharged by solar panels), the cabin space can also be air conditioned, allowing anglers to extend fishing trips in any season, reaching fishing grounds previously out of reach. The cabin also becomes a comfortable retreat on family cruises, with side windows for natural light and ventilation.

The cabin as seen from its access

The design of the 36 Molokai prioritizes fishing functionality while maintaining all-around usability. As any fishing boat requires, the stern is spacious and unobstructed and has a station with built-in tackle. The bench reclines and has a space for bait preparation. In addition, this Molokai also has a side door in the broadside to facilitate the descent to shore and hoisting large fish on board. With deep-sea fishermen in mind, who need to be able to move freely at every stage of the catch, Aquila Boats’ 36-footer has an unobstructed walking surface.

In the middle of the boat is the command post, which is protected by a carbon T-Top and can accommodate three people. In the bow, however, there is a sunbathing area for three people and a central locker incorporated into the chaise longue structure. When the 36 Molokai is not being used for fishing but for entertaining, the stern transforms into a living area with an outdoor kitchen and optional barbeque station. Pull-out refrigerators convert into additional seating for guests. The standard version of the 36 Molokai is powered by two Mercury V8 outboards rated at 300 hp each. If desired, it can be upgraded to two outboards with total power up to 1,000 hp.
