Among the latest in 20-meter yachts, the new Mahon 64 is rooted in the charm of the Austin Parker to combine livability, interior and exterior, and elegance. Behind it is a hand that has marked some of our most iconic nautical designs, Fulvio De Simoni, who with his design studio collaborated with Austin Parker to create this boat.

It is the flagship of the Mahon range, which consists of two other models: the 46 and the 54. The first example of the 64 has already been sold to a European shipowner who, according to the schedule, will be able to enjoy it as early as May 2023.

If the boat is synonymous with escape from everyday life, it takes many elements to find ourselves aboard a happy oasis. That is why the new 64 on board focuses primarily on a beautiful aesthetic impact. True to a more classic idea of yachting, this 20-meter has a significant beam, 6 meters, but is designed with balanced, streamlined features.

The yacht, in these renderings, is characterized by the color “shark gray,” Austin Parker’s stylistic signature traced by arch. Fulvio De Simoni and much appreciated by the market. The owner can still choose many interior details and another hull color to customize the yacht to his liking.

Austin Parker Mahon 64 – Blanket

The centrality of space, both inside and outside, immediately emerges. In particular, the top of this coupe has been made livable with a large sundeck that allows the use of an otherwise unused area, but without creating the flybridge effect. Thus, there is no second upper control bridge, and a ladder is all that is needed for access.

Under the top, we find the cockpit with two chaise lounges, a table and a sofa. Two symmetrical side ladders lead to a large bathing platform. The tender is housed in the hangar, indoors.

Simplicity and rationality are two necessary elements in boating, especially for those about to spend long periods on board. For this reason, the salon has been designed with a layout that exactly embodies these two tensions with a dining-kitchen area and the on-board command bridge.

Austin Parker Mahon 64 – Below Deck.

The sleek line, despite its size, accentuated by the windshield shape and the profile between the top and the bow, allowed for significant volumes below deck. In this case, we are talking about a central master cabin, a VIP forward cabin and a guest cabin, each equipped with a private bathroom. For the crew there is an additional cabin with independent access equipped with a toilet and shower.

Austin Parker Mahon 64 – Engines

The approach of Austin Parker’s Mahon 64 is that of the long sailing boat, which includes possible rough sea sailing. A suitable hull line has been designed for this, and two engines are planned: the first with two MAN V8s of 1,000 horsepower each while the second with 2 MANs of 1,300 horsepower, also in the axle line.
