After debuting at the catamaran show, at the International Multihull Show in La Grande-Motte, it’s time for the Aventura 38 to reach the general “generalist” public as well.
The boom in motor catamarans is now no longer news. On the contrary, there are so many new shipyards, but especially models that, with each season are being integrated. One case out of all is the new Aventura 38, which is very surprising because it integrates a monohull look with the features and advantages that are instead exclusively characteristic of multihulls.
In fact, it is an 11-meter available in three different versions: Sport Coupe, Sport and also in a Motoryacht version. Produced by the French-Tunisian shipyard Aventura Catamarans we previewed it during its launch and below is a brief preview of what it will look like.
While waiting to try it out, here is what it looks like. At the stern is a large submersible platform, an outdoor lounge for 8 people, and side walls that drop down to create a terrace over the water. The latter are an optional extra. Amidships is a large covered salon, while at the far bow is a second protected cockpit that is well integrated into the boat.
The Coupe version is the one without a flybridge, while the motor yacht version has a 15 m² upper deck equipped with a sundeck area, lounge/dining area, an open-air galley and an integrated helm station. Inside, the salon is complete with a spacious galley, convertible dining area and full command station.
The master stateroom occupies the entire starboard hull, with a private bathroom and separate shower. For guests, however, there are two guest cabins and a bathroom on the port hull.
As far as propulsion is concerned, here again you have maximum choice. The Aventura 38 MY is available in inboard versions from 250 hp to 370 hp, with the option of a 2 x 400 hp outboard for the Sedan version. A 2 x 100 kw electric version is also available.
