For the twenty-sixth consecutive year, Azimut Benetti Group has been confirmed at the top of the Global Order Book, the international ranking curated by Boat International. This ranking, which has been monitoring the world production of megayachts since 1992, has certified Azimut Benetti as the overall leader.

The result not only consolidates the Group as a world leader, but also reinforces Italy’s role as an international hub for high-end yachting. The Group maintains its position of excellence in all the categories analyzed, with 163 yachts under construction representing 23 percent of the global market considered by the report. These positive performances are in line with the excellent financial results recorded: a turnover of 1.5 billion euros in the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025, and an order book that extends to 2029. These indicators demonstrate the soundness of a strong industrial model, supported by the Vitelli family’s continuity of ownership and ability to anticipate new market trends.

The new luxury paradigm: experience and service

In recent years, the yachting world has seen a significant change in the uses of owners, who are increasingly seeking ease of use, immediacy, and greater freedom in the enjoyment of their boat. In general, it has been seen that owners want less complexity and more time to enjoy the excitement their boat can provide. It is in response to this evolution that the Azimut Benetti Group Service Division was born, an ecosystem of services designed to ensure peace of mind, a new concept of intangible luxury. The division, entrusted to Massimiliano Casoni, continues the strategic vision of Paolo Vitelli, who already in the early 2000s identified services as the future frontier of yachting. This vision has been built over time through the acquisition of refitting yards such as Lusben and the development of consulting services such as Yachtique.

A full-service hub for the shipowner

Today, this vision translates into a dynamic and modular hub, capable of accompanying the shipowner at every moment of his or her experience. The offering is broad, from administrative management to technical services to customized experiential packages.

The division’s roadmap focuses on three main areas; the first is asset value protection, with a package that aims to control operating costs and preserve the value of the yacht over time. It includes preventive maintenance, predictive systems (including with artificial intelligence) and even extended warranty. The goal is to ensure that the yacht is always efficient and to protect its residual value. The second area concerns crew management: a comprehensive program that covers selection, ongoing training through the Crew Academy, and operational coordination of the crew on board. This is a key service to ensure a high-quality daily experience. Last but not least, theowner experience: through Yachtique, the division offers an atelier in which the owner can customize every aspect of the yacht, from the choice of furnishings to the artwork, thanks to fine Italian craftsmanship. After delivery, the experience continues with concierge services and dedicated owner’s club programs.

Leadership in the Global Order Book is not seen by the Azimut Benetti Group as an achievement, but as a drive to continue innovating. The commitment remains to build the most beautiful, reliable and technologically advanced boat, assisting it always and everywhere. Today’s challenge is to make yachting more accessible, more intelligent and above all, more personal.
