A new category of boat that changes a bit the rules we have seen so far. It is called Azimut Seadeck 6 and is one of the most interesting boats of 2024. Let’s start with the data: 17.5 meters long, 5 meters wide, 1.35 meters. Motorization is with IPS in two options: the one we tested is with 3 x IPS Volvo Penta 650 – 480 HP, while the standard one has three IPS 500 – 380 HP.

It is a boat with a stern that opens up and gently slopes toward the sea. A superyacht solution reminiscent of Benetti’s Oasis range. Exterior design by Alberto Mancini while interior design by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. The floor area then also expands aft. The setting is walkaround and you walk around the central superstructure.
Among the new features, for example in the central hall, the windows go from the ceiling to the walkway. There is great brightness and breadth, a must for modern boats. The cockpit is protected while maintaining great visibility. Sustainability is at the heart of the design: the combination of hull, weights, and propulsion results in up to a 40 percent reduction in CO2 emissions over an average year of use compared to a conventional flybridge boat of similar size.
