The new version of the Azimut Seadeck 6 arrives: the Sundeck. It is an evolution of the first model ever launched by the Avigliana shipyard, Azimut Yachts, in this new range. Featuring a flybridge that offers a second helm station greatly increases external livability compared to the “closed” version, but without going to impact the profile.
The first time we saw this 17-meter yacht we were really surprised. Our own Luca Sordelli narrated the text of the Coupe version of this boat on video: you can find it here. In 2025, however, the new “Sundeck” version of the same Azimut made its debut.
Indeed, with a craft like this, it was a bit of a shame not to be able to enjoy sailing from a vantage point like the flybridge. Especially since an option like this is available on the larger version, the 21-meter-long Seadeck 7. If we think, then, of the Mediterranean, steering the boat from the fly while cruising at cruising speed to our favorite bay is an absolutely unique thrill.
Then there remain the central elements of this yacht that we have already had the opportunity to appreciate in our trials. Central point of all life on board is the Fun Island that fully interprets what are the needs of today’s owners. A stern and cockpit open to the sea that become a large terrace on the water. Behind it is the hand of Alberto Mancini, an esteemed designer who once again proves capable of intercepting the tastes of today’s sea-goers.
Another pillar, then, of the entire Seadeck range is the focus on sustainability. In this sense, natural, recycled and recyclable materials have been used. This concerns not only the exterior, but also what we find inside, whose interiors are the work of Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, designers capable of combining elegance, linearity and respect for the environment. Even from the point of view of navigation, this attention emerges with advanced naval architecture. In addition, the Seadeck 6 is also available in a mild hybrid version.
