Bavaria barche a motore

The German shipyard Bavaria wants to drive out the many summer rumors about the company’s – now happily solved – and prepares the Dusseldorf Boat Show, on 19 of January, in style with nine motor boats present, that is, the whole range. The models of the German giant range from 9 metres up to the S29, up to the shipyard’s flagship, the R55, about 18 metres long. Here are the two lines of Bavaria boats

The motorboats of Bavaria: the R line

Representing this line in Dusseldorf will be two of Germany’s leading yachts: the R-40 Fly Style Plus and the yard’s flagship, the R55. Fly and side windows characterise the exterior lines. Attention to material and finish is another very important detail.

Bavaria R40 Fly

A new generation V-shaped hull and a good trim make this boat dynamic and safe in navigation. The elegant design with large windows in the hull and superstructure was taken care of by J&J Design. Bavaria R40 Fly has a sister boat, the R40 Coupé, which, without a flybridge, shares the engine with the other model: a double Volvo Penta with 370 horsepower.

Bavaria R55

Presented last year in Dusseldorf, it returns maintaining its status as Bavaria’s flagship. A motor boat with a slim and dynamic design that does not forget the role of “cruiser”. Compared to the tapered hull, therefore, the large internal volumes combined with a very powerful engine are surprising: the choice is between two engines of 600 or between two engines of 725 hp Volvo Penta IPS.

The Bavaria powerboats: the S line

13 different models for the sporty and luxurious S line from Bavaria, six of which will be on display at the Dusseldorf Motor Show. Here are the ones:

Bavaria S29 is a Med Boat for those who want to spend a relaxing day at sea. Aft there is a large sunbathing area and a bathing platform.

The Bavaria S30 Open has its strengths in its sporty handling and the surprising amount of space in the cockpit and below deck. Aft there is a cabin and above it there is the possibility of transforming the angular dinette of the saloon into a sunbed.

The Bavaria S33 is built in two versions: Open and Hard Top. Agility during manoeuvres and very responsive in acceleration.

The Bavaria S36 Hard Top has space for four people with the forward owner’s cabin and a large guest cabin. For life on board there is a large saloon and cockpit.

The Bavaria S40 Coupé has ample interior space, from the cabins to the saloon without forgetting the storage space. The saloon, thanks to large sliding doors, can be separated from the cockpit. From the saloon and wheelhouse the view is 360°.

The Bavaria S45 Hard Top is a luxury sports car where owners can choose between a 2 or 3 cabin version with two bathrooms. The owner’s cabin is forward with double bed, separate shower and bathroom. In addition to the Hard Top version, the S45 can also be ordered in the Open or Coupé version.

The motorboats of Bavaria: the Virtess line

The Bavaria Virtess 420 Fly and Virtess 420 Coupé are “custom” boats designed to adapt to the needs of all owners. For example, in the cockpit, the table and bench seats can be moved to any required position using an innovative rail system; the arrangement is therefore suitable for any occasion. The flybridge model has been designed to allow everyone on board to enjoy this space.
