The news that Bavaria would make outboard boats came a few months ago, with the acquisition of Greenline’s Neo line (HERE THE ARTICLE). Today here is the Vida 33, Bavaria’s first outboard motorboat.
Bavaria Vida 33
Bavaria’s day-cruiser with outboards engine is called Vida 33. The development team is working hard and the Giebelstadt shipyard is now on the finishing straight with the first two prototypes.
In just four months of development, Bavaria’s first outboard motorboat has evolved very quickly. After the first tests scheduled in September, the mass production will start soon.
Bavaria Vida 33
The Bavaria Vida 33 will be built in two versions: an open version and a hardtop version. Together with the sporty design of the hull with recessed windows, the Bavaria Vida 33. The bow also offers two layout variants. The choice is between a flat bow deck with space for a generous sunbathing area and a forward lounge area with a cocktail table and space for up to six people.
The Bavaria Yachts development team designed the cockpit to be as habitable as possible and with plenty of space. There is therefore also the maximum number of possible uses onboard. The L-shaped seating area with a large cockpit table on the starboard side invites guests to sit down for lunch. With just a few simple steps it transforms into a sundeck for relaxing moments on board.
There is also everything you need for a day at sea: refrigerator, gas stove, sink, and space to store everything. Like the larger models, you can choose a bathing platform, hydraulically lowered, for super access to the sea.
Underdeck
On long weekends the double berth below deck is very useful. The presence of the outboard (and therefore without engine room) means that space here is really plenty and usable to the maximum. This makes the Bavaria Vida 33 not only a dynamic day cruiser but also an ideal weekend boat.
Engine
Two 9″ displays provide a complete overview of navigation and all systems onboard. The basic engines are two Mercury outboard engines with 150 horsepower. For those who want more thrust, we switch to 200 horsepower V6s. At a further level, there are two 250 or 300 horsepower V8s.
