by Sea Time – Marine Watches
In 1997, just a few years after its debut in the watchmaking market, Bell & Ross presented the Hydromax, a timepiece water resistant to depths of 11,100 metres, thanks to its innovative oil-filled case.
In 2017 came the breakthrough with the presentation of the BR-03 Diver. In fewer than 30 years of activity, the French manufacturer has managed to carve out an important space in the watchmaking world by taking advantage of the power of ideas and by breaking the mould.
This timepiece raises the bar even higher in terms of innovation. The opaque black ceramic material used is the result of substantial research and development: light, scratch and impact-resistant and soft to the touch, it also has thermo-regulating properties so it adapts instantly to body temperature.
The Diver collection is now enriched with new content with the entry of the BR03-92 Diver Matte Black
The BR03-92 Diver Matte Black also includes the essential features for diving, such as a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, with a graduated scale marking each minute from 0 to 20 and 5-minute intervals up to 60 minutes.
ISO 6425 certification attests that it is possible to read the timepiece in conditions of low lighting and from a distance of 25 cm. Designed in every minute detail, the orange hour hand stands out from the minute hand as to enable the simple calculation of dive times.
The BR 03-92 is water resistant to a depth of 300 metres thanks also to the 2.85mm anti-reflection sapphire crystal that protects the black square on which the applied metal outlines of the numbers are filled with Superluminova. The 42mm diameter case houses a calibre BR-CAL 302 mechanical movement.
