It is the home show, namely the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, that the French giant Beneteau has chosen for the arrival of the new Antares 12 Coupe. It will be the flybridge-less flagship of one of Beneteau’s most successful and longest-running ranges. We are not talking about a boat that comes out of nowhere, but from no less than 45 years of experience. Such indeed is the age of this incredible line.

Let’s preview what this 12-meter (12.97 overall) family motorboat looks like.

After the flybridge version, comes a 12-meter family boat (overall length is close to 13 meters) ideal for all seasons. There is, in fact, a large salon protected in the center with the wheelhouse and a large cockpit aft with a folding broadside to starboard. Let’s stay in the salon for a moment: it is designed with a large U-shaped salon and a fully equipped galley. The treat is that the roof can be made not only of fiberglass, but optionally it can be openable. In short, it can become a convertible in no time.

The cabins (up to 8 beds!)

The Antares 12 Coupe as a good cruiser for family cruising or sporty weekender has a master cabin with private bath and shower. The same goes for the guest cabin. In addition, there is a third modular living space that can be converted to suit the owner’s needs and preferences as an additional berth or storage area. With the convertible salon in the wheelhouse, the Antares 12 Coupe can accommodate up to eight people to sleep on board.

How is this family cruising boat powered (12 meters)

How is it motorized? Performance is a hallmark of this all-outboard range. Not so much top speed, but good power to move quickly and, above all, ease of maneuvering. For this there are two 400-hp engines or three 300-hp engines, which can be combined with a joystick. The Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer (optional) adds the finishing touch, if you want it, especially if your guests are not sea-footed. Sure, a little goes a long way in the final price, but it’s a comfort few tend to give up if they can.
