Beneteau, the world’s leading boat builder, presents the first two models in the revolutionized Gran Turismo range. The new Gran Turismo 35 and Gran Turismo 40 Coupe decisively break away from the Gran Turismo range we had come to know: no more open, almost square bows and sides free of portholes and windows. A new chapter not only for the range but for the entire historic French shipyard, in business for more than 140 years.

Gran Turismo 40 Coupe

Thanks to this very long experience, starting with feedback from owners and using the latest design techniques, the new Gran Turismo 40 leaves behind the restrictions, compromises and imperfections of yesteryear.

The line redefines the concept of minimalism, as the side is absolutely clean, free of any clutter other than the cut of the folding flaps aft. In the cockpit, you will find the dedicated entertainment area, with L-shaped settees arranged, staggered, facing each other, abutting the open-air galley.

The inverted bow, while following a line new to Beneteau, maintains the “monolithic” philosophy that gives space on deck for a sundeck with folding seats and, below, the volume needed for an island berth with ample storage space. In addition, a convertible center berth provides additional space for guests or storage.

Beneteau X Alpine

Elegant aesthetics are also inspired by the automotive world. The long-standing partnership between Beneteau and Alpine, a high-end brand specializing in motorsports, has produced a limited edition version with exclusive styling enhancements: custom colors, with a special hull finish, black detailing on accessories, and blue on all interior furnishings. This combination results in a boat that combines luxury and aesthetics for a sportiness that does not go unnoticed.

Engines and Prices

Two 400hp Mercury Verado engines equip the outboard version with a 1200-liter tank, while the inboard version has two 320hp Yanmar 8LV engines with an 805-liter tank. In terms of performance, the Yanmar inboard version allows a speed of 32 knots, while the Verado outboard version exceeds 35 knots.

Gran Turismo 40 Coupe will start at €400,000 excluding VAT, and will have its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025, but will already be available for trials in Antibes on August 29 and 30, 2025. To find out all the details visit the shipyard’s website at this link.
