Large boats, large internal volumes and a hull capable of facing the ocean. The new generation Beneteau winks at the world of long range motor yachts and by 2021 we will see the first two boats of “Project E”. Here are the two models.
Project E, the long-range motor yacht according to Beneteau
The “Project E”, the new generation Beneteau, will be a range of two yachts, one of which is more than 20 metres (over 65 feet) long and is the result of Beneteau’s collaboration with Massimo Gino of Nauta Design and Amedeo Migali (MICAD). After the Swift Trawlers, the typical boats for traveling the French shipyard’s unveiled this new line of motor yacht. What changes from the “Swift Trawler” range? The Project E boats will be high-end yachts, more luxurious than the Beneteau trawlers, with larger dimensions, according to the latest market trends (more info in the next issue of Motor Boats paper and digital).
How they will look like.
They will be boats with a displacement hull, developed by MICAD, optimized to have great sailing autonomy and very high standards on board. The interiors, by Nauta Design, have been designed with the use of wood satin wax, leather and fine fabrics.

Project E – Beneteau – 1
The first model is 18.95 meters (62 feet) long and has a beam of over 5 meters. Designed to accommodate 6-8 people on board (to which the crew can be added). The boat is equipped with a large flybridge. The galley can be completely closed. With a range of 900 miles has a raised central wheelhouse, suitable for slow cruises.
Project E – Beneteau – 2
The second model is 22.28 meters (73 feet) long and designed for 8 people on board, plus 4 crew. It immediately strikes the shape of the bow, high above the water and closed. It impresses the size of the flybridge considering the space remaining at the bow. To get more details, however, you will have to wait for the launch of the boat. Special attention has been paid to the space on board, to facilitate the movement of the crew. The raised wheelhouse in the middle of the boat is located between the main deck and the flybridge and is accessed by a dedicated staircase.
