Beneteau Revolution. Set to arrive 3 models in 6 months: this is the shipyard’s new Gran Turismo generation.
The Gran Turismo 35, the Gran Turismo 40 and the Gran Turismo 50 will be the new hulls that Beneteau will bring to market. Objective? “Villa-on-the-water” style boats with a big focus on outdoor spaces (+30% surface area thanks in part to fold-down bulwarks). Simple, minimalist, easy to operate. The shipyard focused on creating Grand Touring boats in name and in fact.
The same philosophy that created the famous GT cars of the 1960s also wants to be in the core values of these boats. Offering a comfortable and protected driving experience while cruising.
Beneteau and the Grand Tourers
What will be new about these boats? Well, the approach is modern. The somewhat “adventurous” style, where you put together comfortable sailing and the ability to anchor and enjoy the boat even when stationary. In that sense, once stationary you can use the solar power and lithium batteries that these models should be equipped with.
On board, in fact, the need for energy is increasing for all the services that technology makes available and at the same time also for the water games that are around today that no one wants to give up.
Not only “pastimes,” but also necessities, such as a tender. More and more boats have electric motors for tenders or an electric system for inflating paddles or the like. In short, maximum on-board functionality with exterior layouts devoted entirely to the quality of your cruising. This is Beneteau’s new generation of express cruisers. To further enhance comfort on board, all new boats offer gyroscopic stabilization.
When they will debut
The Gran Turismo 35 and 40 models will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025, while the Gran Turismo 35, Gran Turismo 40, and Gran Turismo 50 will be shown together for the first time at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in early 2026.
For more information we will have to wait for the upcoming boat shows or consult the website of Beneteau.
