Beneteau updates its Swift Trawler line with the new entry model to the range, an 11-meter available in two versions. In line with its big sisters, the new Swift Trawler 37 is intended to be a small house on the water, with a modern design, elegant finish and capable of long cruising ranges in total comfort.

Swift Trawler 37

Swift Trawler 37 is designed with an ascending sheerline to a massive, flared and tall bow. The new reverse windshield not only provides better visibility, but creates a professional trawler profile, streamlined by the long windows on the hull.

The galley, which is larger than the previous 35-foot model, is on the straight side of the salon, just in front of the large C-shaped sofa that comfortably seats six people. In addition, this dining area can be quickly converted into a double berth, which can be separated with a curtain for maximum privacy.

Below deck, priority in volume management is reserved for the master cabin, forward, which now benefits from a comfortable bathroom with separate shower stall. There is no lack of a small, separate cabin with 2 bunk beds.

Sedan or Flybridge

The new Swift Trawler 37 is available in Sedan or Flybridge versions. The inverted windshield extends the roof space above the wheelhouse to accommodate electric skylights or solar panels as options. The flybridge features a helm station with excellent visibility and L-shaped sofa with built-in refrigerator. The Sedan introduces a completely new concept of space designed to fit every need. It is practically a true terrace on the sea, unobstructed, entirely and configurable for living moments of relaxation or as equipment shelter for the more adventurous.

Motorization

The standard inboard engine is a 400-hp Yanmar 6LY, which, with an 800-L fuel tank, offers a range of 350 miles at 8 knots cruising (with 10 percent fuel reserve), but power can be increased to 440hp. A single-engine solution, economical in both purchase and operating costs, excellent for long distances. From the renderings we expect a semi-planing fairing, but we do not yet have details on performance. So we’ll just have to wait to try it out at the fall shows.
