With the reclamation of the seabed and the installation of new dead bodies and floating modules made of rotational polyethylene with expanded polystyrene cores-a total of 430 meters-the marina gained more than 220 new berths for boats from 7 to 20 meters in length. All pontoons are made of galvanized steel with fine wood footings and are equipped with all utilities (electricity, water, fire-fighting systems). The historic basin, which is home to some examples of the Phlegraean-Neapolitan gozzo – a traditional boat included in 2020 byUNESCO in the “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Campania,” is a very important landing place in the Campania Archipelago area.

A floating dock intended for cabs connecting the mainland withProcida Island has also been installed near the new facility. The investment was more than 1.5 million euros and will certainly represent a great opportunity for both citizens and tourists, who are always looking for summer landings in the Campania area.
