  • July 9 | MIMIT – Parlamentino Hall – Via Vittorio Veneto, 33
  • July 10 – 11 | Unioncamere – Horti sallustiani – Piazza Sallustio, 21

The event, unique in Italy, which brings together annually in presence all public and private stakeholders from all sectors of the Sea Economy, changes venue this year and celebrates the sea in the Jubilee year.

Blue Forum The Sea in the Year of Jubilee

On this extraordinary occasion, the Economy of the Sea is presented in Rome as a symbol of rebirth, connection, hope and economic growth, consolidating Italy’s central role in the Euro-Mediterranean context.

In the Jubilee year, the sea takes on an even deeper value: spiritual, economic and social. It is the place where the great challenges of sustainability, technology and international cooperation intertwine, opening up new opportunities for responsible and shared progress.

Celebrating the sea in the heart of Rome means recognizing its value as an essential resource for Italy, not only in economic terms, but also as a heritage to be protected and enhanced for future generations. Blue Forum 2025 will be the meeting point to chart a clear course toward a future in which the sea is truly the engine of our country’s growth and innovation.

Chambers of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce system has long played a driving role in shaping development policies for the Sea Economy, providing expertise, tools and data to guide the country’s strategic choices.

Particular emphasis is placed on observing the value of the sector, with the National Sea Economy Report, now in its thirteenth edition, being the reference tool for observing and valuing the sector at the national level.

For more than a decade, the chamber system-through its territorial and sectoral articulations-has been working alongside policy makers and business associations, contributing to the definition of effective development strategies, with particular attention to the issues of administrative simplification, investment promotion and the construction of a shared and prospective vision of the Sea Economy.

Creating Value

The Blue Forum 2025 will be an opportunity for institutions, businesses and stakeholders in the sector to meet, with the aim of bringing together expertise and visions to fully exploit the potential of the Italian Sea Economy.

We will work together to turn the opportunities of the Blue Economy into concrete value, increasing the economic, cultural and social impact of the sea on the entire national system.

Three pillars will guide this journey: Connectivity, Accountability, Regeneration.

Three commitments for a common development path aimed at creating value for Italy and Europe through the Economy of the Sea, also in light of the challenges posed by new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Twin and Space-Sea interconnections.
