Here are the accessories for safe cruising even when you are alone.

An all-new range from Simrad for onboard chartplotters. They are called Cruise and are available in 5.7- and 9-inch sizes. Also interesting is the price, which starts from 390€ up to 668€. A simple and intuitive instrument without Ethernet connection and NMEA2000, it ranks among the entry level, even for those who are just beginning to become familiar with it on board. Can be supplied with NMNavonics or C-Map cartography.

Also included with the chartplotter is the Chirp sonar transducer with automatic depth sensing: an instrument that is therefore simple and ready to use and, thanks to its IPX7 waterproofing, finds the perfect fit even in open boats or dinghies.

The display provides information on battery capacity, charge/discharge status, and power, and is equipped with USB sockets. It weighs only 7 kg and costs about €750.

Schenker – Zen

In the year of its 20th birthday, Schenker celebrates the success of Zen a very compact watermaker with great qualities.
