Sinking boat rescued with Boat Rescue System
Sinking boat rescued with Boat Rescue System

The risk of sinking is one of the worst nightmares for any boat owner. Not only because of the inherent danger of the event, which affects the safety of all people and property on board, but also because of the risks that may follow later. One example out of all, the costs to be incurred in salvaging the sunken boat. With the Boat Rescue System you are protected from the risk of sinking and fire at the same time.

Boat Rescue System – The 2-in-1 system: anti-sinking and firefighting

The BRS system is very simple: it is a box to be kept on board at all times (dimensions: 54 x 32 x 27 centimeters, weight: 13 kilograms) containing everything needed to be used in case of fire or sinking. The box contains a CO2 extinguisher weighing 2 kilograms and four flotation bags. It is precisely these four bags that prevent the risk of sinking: should the need arise, they should be placed in different places on the boat and inflated with the supplied fire extinguisher to 80 percent of their total volume (about 680 liters out of 850 capacity). The four bags inflate in less than 3 minutes developing about 2,700 liters of total volume, which can keep the boat afloat even if it fills with water. But this is not the end of the story, because the fire extinguisher provided has a dual function. In addition to serving to inflate flotation bags in no time, just change the nozzle on the fire extinguisher to use in case of fire and nip the flames in the bud. In fact, the Boat Rescue System is 2 in 1, both an anti-sinking system and a fire-fighting system, fits in an all in all small box and is light in weight-a very useful solution to have on board.
