Have you broken something on board and need to have the replacement shipped to you? Or are you tired of the usual postcards and want to send something more “substantial”? There are already 6 marinas throughout Italy-Vieste, Teulada, Villasimius, Balestrate, Anzio, Procida-from which you can receive and ship for the world. DHL Express, a transportation company, and the Marinedi Group, a network of marinas, are embarking on the creation of a network by which it will be possible to send and receive documents and goods, from more than 200 countries, just a few steps from your berth. DHL service-points will be set up in the six marinas mentioned above with all shipping and business support services in relation to the type of transport required.

A major breakthrough in such a strategic place as ports are, crossroads of men and people from all over the globe. It would be very interesting to see other marinas join this project, to create an efficient Mediterranean network with which to quickly ship all kinds of goods the corners of the world, with short and safe timelines. For example, during vacation periods, when a damaged part can jeopardize the entire relaxation period, the timely arrival of all spare parts directly at the dock can conveniently solve any problems. These service points are created with the aim of serving as a reference point not only for boaters, but for all local residents.
