Boats 2020: 6 models under 15 meters
1 – Axopar 37
Overwhelming success for the Axopar 37, one of the most eagerly awaited novelties of 2020. Sources from the shipyard reported that many models had already been sold, even before the official debut. Motwisted with a 300 horsepower double outboard, this is a boat that was created for those who want to have fun, especially in the “Spyder” version, all open. The other two models are the Cabin and the Sun-top, like the one in the picture below. The secret is in the low average price. For this model (the average price for a basic boat, but ready to sail, with motors is 190.000 €, excluding VAT). READ OUR PREVIEW
2 – De Antonio D42
If you are looking for a pure walk around (not too expansive), this new De Antonio is a very interesting 12 and a half meters boat. It also has a secret. What’s that? The outboard! You can’t see them, but there are “hidden” under the sunpad. An original idea of the shipyard, born in 2012, which today has a walk around line, from 8 to 14 meters, which all follow this philosophy. Outboard (and all the advantages that come with it), fine finishes and good performance in navigation. Basic price? 290,000 euros excluding VAT. READ OUR PREVIEWÂ
3 – Sacs Strider 15
Sacs Strider 15 is a well-known name among the maxi rib. This year, however, the new 15-metre dinghy from Sacs has taken on new life: completely new hull and deck, so much so that in common with the old Strider 15, there is only the name. “For a matter of continuity – explains Andrea Loro, Sales and After Sales director – this raft is still called Strider 15, but compared to the previous model it is completely different”. A powerful vehicle that can also be motorized with outboards, with the typical elegant and aggressive look of Sacs inflatable boats. READ OUR PREVIEW
4 – Bavaria SR41
Bavaria has a new boat, born merging its two lines: the sporty “S” and the “R” of high-end boats. The starting price, excluding VAT, is €229,600. READ OUR PREVIEW
5 – Boston Whaler 380 Realm
The Boston Whaler 380 Realm debuts in Europe. If you are a fan of fun boats, this 12-metre boat with plenty of power aft (four outboards up to 1600 horsepower) is for you. Real open spirit (second cockpit at bow), although the interiors are also livable and the Boston Whaler’s “unsinkable” quality. For the Boston Whaler 380 Realm with standard accessories and engines (4 x 300 V8 Mercury) the price is 1.041.000€ (Taxes and VAT INCLUDED). READ OUR APPROVAL
6 – Brabus 900 Shadow
Brabus Shadow 900 of Brabus Marine is one of those boats that doesn’t go unnoticed. 50 knots of fast cruising speed can already represent an interesting fact when talking about this kind of boats: those for going fast, swimming with an unmistakable look. An 11.7 metres with a comfortable cruising speed of around 30-40 knots with two 450 horsepower Mercury. What can I say: a true thoroughbred. Here are the versions in which it is available. The basic version Sun-top with engines, vat excluded has a price of 354,500€. READ OUR PREVIEW
