For the “extreme boats” category, 2023 saw the launch of a model that is sure to make waves: the Bolide 80. At 24 meters long, it was born from the partnership between Bolide Yachts, Brunello Acampora’s Victory Design & Technology and Ranieri Tonissi with the support of Flexitab, who equipped this hull with a patented T-Drive propulsion system.

Propelling it are three surface propellers capable of automatically finding the ideal trim angle, thanks to special cylinders pioneered in powerboating. This first “Hyper Muscle Yacht,” super muscular boat recently left Victory Marine’s Hangar 4 in Tombolo (Pisa) to test at sea what an all-carbon hull with 6,000 total horsepower delivered by 3 MAN V12s of 2,000 horsepower each can do. 55 knots of speed — cruising speed.
The top speed, however, exceeded 70 knots. Monstrous numbers for a 24.9-meter-long yacht that is expected to be the first of nine yachts ranging from 18 to 50 meters. Bolide’s interiors are the result of a partnership between architect Stefano Faggioni and Victory’s in-house design team.

Bolide 80 – Below Deck
To go below deck there are two symmetrical ladders connecting with the cockpit. To port we find the galley from which there is a direct access to the captain’s cabin, with a full-size bed, closet, desk and electric control panel, as well as a private bathroom. The kitchen also communicates with the bar area. The starboard side leads to a private sitting room, which can be converted into a guest cabin with TV and private bathroom useful as a day-head if needed.
The proposed layout is custom with voluminous and very modern interiors. The master stateroom consists of a central bed that appears to be suspended, with a base formed by two drawers and enveloped by a sort of cradle covered in ivory nubuck leather that runs the length of the cabin.
It is scheduled to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023.
