On the eve of the first major nautical event of the year, the Boot Düsseldorf, which starts tomorrow and runs until next Sunday, January 26, it is time for a recap on what will be new during this 2025. So let us start with the category most followed by the general public, that of boats, and see a selection of them, from the smallest to the largest.

Boot Düsseldorf – Bayliner C21

A boat that was kept in great secrecy until the very last: we can finally see Bayliner’s new C21, a small 6.5 m runabout. The “C” stands for “Cuddy,” underlining the presence of a small cabin under the pontil bow.

Hwila 25 – 7.45 m

Let’s start with something really special and striking: the Hwila 25 is a 7.5-meter Swedish boat with timeless lines. Abundant use of wood details, large wheel steering and an atypical deck layout certainly do not make her a boat for everyone, but she will certainly make her owner stand out. Available in both gasoline and electric.

Boot Düsseldorf – Chris Craft Sportster 25 – 7.60 m

Chris Craft maintains its style in this new Sportster 25, a hardtop bowrider that promises a very high level of attention to detail. Interesting solution of the lowerable stern platform, a nontrivial feature on this size.

Nordkapp Coupe 780 – 7.80 m

Boat of unmistakable Scandinavian style: upright bow, squared-off full-beam pilot house and unobstructed aft cockpit. A craft made more for sailing than sunbathing, but this is hardly a flaw.

Twiel Z7 – 7.90 m

Perhaps the most curious vehicle in this selection. Is it a boat? A car? Actually it is even a catamaran, built of wood, fully electric. But what is striking are the lines, highly distinctive, inspired by the motoring of an era that may be as much past as future.

Boot Düsseldorf – De Antonio D29 – 7.99 m

The successor to the D28 remains true to the De Antonio philosophy, renewing the lines. D29 will be the new entry model to the range of the shipyard that has literally revolutionized the world of outboard boats.

Beneteau Antares 9 – 8.23 m

A winning team doesn’t change, but it does get better. Beneteau’s new Antares 9 gets a makeover and is decidedly more modern. Benefiting most of all are the interiors, which are more elegant, with a play on contrasts between light and dark, representing the real innovation of this weekender.

Boot Düsseldorf – Levanzo 28 Inboard – 8.33 m

The Italian shipyard Lilybaeum, after the success with the public at the fall boat shows with the 25 and 31 models, is including in its range the connecting link, a 28-foot, inboard, with the same sinuous and elegant lines that have made the fortune of this promising shipyard.

Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom – 8.67 m

A runabout version of the Fantom Air bowrider, this Frauscher, which uses the powertrain of the electric Porsche Macan Turbo, is a boat with even more classic lines. A real design gem.

Four Winns H9 – 9.10 m

Entering the 9-meter range, we will see the new Four Winns H9, a bowrider with typically American DNA, available both inboard and outboard. The shipyard brings some special solutions to this model, including the stern flaps, which are asymmetrical and can be folded down, a first for Four Winns.

Future RX30 – 9.50 m

And speaking of very special designs, MIZU, a German shipyard, will bring this boat with extreme, geometric, minimalist lines. Built in aluminum, it promises unprecedented interior volumes for the category. One of the novelties we are going to see with the most curiosity.

Sterk 31 WB – 9.73 m

A walkaround, one of the most popular types of boats on the market, cannot be missing from this list. Sterk 31 is distinguished by a high-performance hull and several aft cockpit layout options.

Boot Düsseldorf – Virtue V10 Cabin – 9.90 m

Speaking of special hulls, we touch on 10 meters with Virtue V10 Cabin, a cabin version of the V10 already seen as an open. Düsseldorf represents a great opportunity to see such extreme hull solutions in the dry.

UNIKO 34 – 10.3 m

We arrive at the threshold of registration with an inflatable boat set up for uncompromising fishing. It will be the debut model of BFF Yachts, a brand-new Sicilian shipyard that stands as a reference point for enthusiasts – and professionals – in the sector.
