Make way for watercraft! In a shipbuilding industry that seems to be projecting more and more toward the high-end, is there still room for a boat of 8 meters or less? The answer is yes! The first boat show of 2024, the
Boot Düsseldorf
, promises to be an event where even the “small” ones return to center stage. And 8 meters seems to be the size where design efforts for the upcoming season have been concentrated.
Boat 8 meters, why it is a “cool” size
In Italy, this size falls within the
boats
, that is, boats that do not require registration and tends to have fairly low operating costs. At the same time, however, we can already have a large enough deck for daily outings and also enough volume below deck to take weekend cruises. Obviously it depends from model to model, but the 8-meter is perfect both for starting out as “newbies” and for approaching cruising.
An ideal size, then. And at Boot Düsseldorf 2024 , as many as eight for all tastes will debut. We go in order of size from 8 to 8.95 meters.
