Today we are in Liguria in Ventimiglia to discover one of the newest developments in western Liguria, just a stone’s throw from France. Indeed, the new marina in Cala del Forte, Ventimiglia, is nearly completed.
Cala del Forte, Ventimiglia’s new marina
Cala del Forte, a new marina in Ventimiglia, owned by Monaco Ports, is in the final stages of construction with an expected opening in Q4 2020. Located 7.9 miles from Monaco, it is built with total respect for the environment to accommodate 178 boats from 6.5 to 70 meters in length in total safety.
It has 24-hour guarded access, 70 CCTV cameras, 577 parking spaces, 15,000 square meters of promenades and gardens, 35 stores (restaurants, bars, offices and services). The shipyard (2,700 m2) has capacity for hauling and launching yachts up to 30 meters. A limited number of berths are available under a 40-year concession.
