Indeed, with the Cannes Festival becoming increasingly rich in its offerings, it is easy to get lost among the myriad hulls and novelties present. So here are 8 boats from 14 to 16 meters that, absolutely, you should go and see if you were in Cannes.
Cannes 2024: 8 boats from 14 to 16 meters not to be missed
Cruisers, day-cruisers, adventures, maxi-ribs, catamarans, you name it.
Cannes will be, for 5 days, a nautical toyland, an expo of new and not-so-new hulls, novelties and accessories ready to send spectators into raptures.
For our part, among the year’s novelties, we suggest at least 9 boats that, for one reason or another, would be a must-see.
Rio Le Mans 50 | 14.9 m
To complement its Daytona line, Rio has introduced the all-new Le Mans, of which this boat is the leader and flagship.
Inspired by the world of cruising and glamour, marrying comfort, style and performance, the newcomer is called Rio Le Mans 50 and is a walkaround center console cruiser, a 14.9-meter capable of 40 knots available with both inboard and outboard.
On board, luxury aside, we find exteriors that live up to her intentions, with large lounge areas and plenty of livability, complemented by a spacious open-air galley and plenty of sundecks.
Below decks, 4 berths on two double cabins and two toilet rooms, to best meet every cruising need. To learn more, discover our in-depth article here!
Nimbus 495 Flybridge | 15.0 m
Whether you want to explore the length and breadth of the Mediterranean, prefer long coastal cruises instead, or want to spend your weeks floating placidly in the archipelagos and fjords of northern Europe, it makes little difference.
Nimbus has the boat that just might be for you.
It is the Nimbus 495 Flybridge, the shipyard’s first Explorere.
Fifteen meters long and 4.6 meters wide, the 495 Fly comes to life on a concept that looks to owners who seek, in a boat, a platform capable of indulging their needs, taking them independently where they want to go and for as long as possible.
Cruising speeds between 20 and 24 knots, top speeds between 25 and 27, and configuration options between 6 and 8 berths make this a cruiser/explore to keep in mind, complemented by a great fly, a comfortable salon, and impeccable exterior lounges. To learn more, discover our in-depth article here!
Whisper 50 | 15.0 m
It’s time to talk about multihulls, motor catamarans, specifically, because, in Cannes, Whisper Yachts’ newest creation will also debut.
A full-electric cruiser, the new Whisper 50 is a 15-meter catamaran designed for sustainable cruising.
Inside it has 3 to 4 cabins, as well as substantial outdoor lounge areas, a full salon including galley, and a furnished flybridge.
Propelled by a pair of 100 kW electric motors, it not only lends itself to typical cruising needs but, thanks to large photovoltaic surfaces, also offers the added bonus of virtually infinite range when at 5/6 knot speeds.

Cannes 2024- Scanner Envy 1500 | 15.2 m
Also in Cannes will be the new Scanner Envy 1500, the maxi-cabin cruiser for weekend getaways and small cruises where, 1500, stands for the size (15 meters), and not for the horsepower, which is definitely more: up to 2400 hp!
The brand’s hulls, after all, have now accustomed us to a certain kind of performance, and the new 1500 is no different.
Propulsion and interior aside, the new maxi-rib then offers a deck plan that is classic but surprising for a rib.
Center console, fridges and cooking plates, double sundecks and outdoor lounge.
All of this, on a dinghy that still manages to also offer as much room for movement as you’d expect, after all, from 15.20-meter outboard… Find out more in our in-depth article here!
Mylius 47 Power | 15.4 m
Versatility is now an increasingly characteristic element in boat design, especially when it concerns powerboating.
Providing an excellent example of this in this case is Mylius, in Cannes with its new 15.4-meter, Mylius 47 Power (M47P), which is a fast, cabin cruiser designed to be usable both as a day-cruiser and as a tender.
Boasting an impressive 55 knots of top speed, large outdoor lounge areas and up to four berths on board, the new M47P in fact stands as an ideal hull for both roles, well-functioning both as a chase-boat and as an elegant runabout for days on the water and nights out.
Fridges, galley and toilet, for that matter, make it complete in every respect. To learn more, discover our in-depth article here!
Nord Star 49+ | 15.4 m
The glance is reminiscent of a heavy-duty, workhorse hull with aggressive lines and forward-projected pilot house.
Yet, it is elegance that takes center stage aboard the new Nord Star 49+, which has a refined interior devoted to maximizing comfort.
With 3 cabins and up to 7 berths, a decidedly elegant salon (with galley), and up to 37 knots of top speed, the Nord Star 49+ is, in fact, a 15.45 dedicated to offshore cruising, whatever the conditions.
Top quality, flybridge and remarkable seaworthiness thus make it a boat not to be underestimated, ideal both for spending time outdoors and for going anywhere, comfortably and sheltered. To learn more, discover our in-depth article here!
Windlass Soleil 52 | 15.5 m
For lovers of maxi-dinghies , fast hulls and versatility, big news is coming from Salpa. Fifteen and a half meters long, cabin cruiser and complete with outdoor lounge areas and an open-air kitchen, comes an extreme boat, complete with everything needed to be usable as a weekender and even a bit more. From such dimensions we expect it. It is the brand new Salpa Soleil 52, outboard-powered and capable of accommodating up to 20 people. But it’s not just about great performance and lots of comfort on deck (with double sundecks, lounge and galley), because the new windlass also offers two cabins, to accommodate overnights for up to four people. Cannes 2024 – FIM 500 Regina | 16.1 m
With the last boat, we barely break 16 meters.
Elegant and sporty lines, folding bulwarks and exteriors devoted to relaxation, matching interiors with four beds.
This is how Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi’s newest creature, the FIM 500 Regina, a 16.10-meter capable of combining luxury, class and comfort to sell at its best.
With well-thought-out exteriors full of lounge areas, double doubles below deck and engines capable of up to 1,200 horsepower, the newcomer knows her stuff, abetted by an appeal and glamour that wink at all lovers of fine things.
Aesthetics aside, the FIM 500 Regina is also a hull capable of going above and beyond, accommodating up to 15 people on board on day trips, and four on cruises, because, yes, there is nothing lacking on board to do that as well. To learn more, discover our in-depth article here!
