Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 – Boats under 10 meters

Ranieri International 275 SLX

Also new for 2024, but ready to debut as early as this fall, is the new Ranieri Next 275 LX that completes the space between the Next 240 and its big sister 285. In 8 meters, the Soverato shipyard has created an XL dayboat, which aims to combine fine finishes with the functionality typical of the shipyard’s boats. This open then boasts a beam of as much as 2.55 meters, making it, among other things, also trailerable. Space management meant that there was room below deck for up to 4 people to spend the night in two separate areas. This is completed by a compartment intended for a toilet. Like the rest of the range, the 275 LC is also made by taking advantage of a shipyard technology whereby a monocoque deck is made with, in a single mold the deck, cabin floor, technical accommodations for the fuel tank (390 liters), water tank (76 liters) and storage lockers. In this way, the maximum beam of the boat is extended about 2/3 of its maximum length. Motorization will be in outboard, single- or twin-engine versions only, with a maximum horsepower approval of 500 and a minimum recommended horsepower of 250.

Joker Clubman 32 – 9.5 m

From the evolution between the Clubman 35 and Clubman 30 comes the new Clubman 32, which inherits the included stern of the CB 30 with a U-shaped seat and a very interesting cabin below deck, a real novelty of the moment. As for general cabin layouts, there is a choice of one with a bathroom separated by a fixed bulkhead or an open-plan version with a toilet concealed by upholstered seating. On deck, however, we find the new, higher bow sundeck, with a structure that also surmounts the tubulars and has allowed us to gain space in the volume below, resulting in significant cabin space. In charge of this project is, once again, designer Federico Gerna, with whom the shipyard has been collaborating for several years. On the 32, he worked out a new hull, deeper than that of the Clubman 30 and slightly wider and longer, in order to optimize space and achieve greater cabin height while maintaining the sailing qualities of all Joker Boats. In addition, with the glass windows in the hull, Gerna was able to maximize natural light by increasing the perception of space and creating a pleasant environment. Lomac Tourism 9.5 – 9.5 m

The huge success of the Lomac Turismo 7.0 is taken up by the shipyard on this larger rib, which benefits from a longer hull length to increase comfort on board even more. In terms of design we find sporty and elegant features, combining sleek lines with an aggressiveness typical of the Turismo range. In the stern we now find a large swim platform surrounding the two outboards and a very spacious dinette with U-shaped seating for 6 or 8 people that can be converted into a sundeck. Proceeding toward the bow we find the command station with the console and two wraparound seats that conceal a convenient refrigerator, while going further we access the vast forward area. Here we find the very large sundeck (also convertible into a dinette) and additional seating in front of the console. Through a small door we access a very spacious locker located below the command area, very convenient for stowing everything we need. If you wish here, you can opt to install a chemical or marine toilet and also serve as a changing room.

Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0 WA Series 2 – 8.73 m

New to Jeanneu’s Cap Camarat line is a boat with an even sportier, sleeker silhouette that gains some innovations on deck and below deck. Starting with the exteriors, where volumes have been exploited to the fullest, we find a t-top protected area where the back of the driver’s seats can be transformed into a sunbed. The aft cockpit of the Cap Camarat 9.0 WA Series 2 also houses the outdoor galley with grill, stove and refrigerator, as well as the small deck that can be obtained by lowering the port broadside. In the bow, the sunbathing area occupies almost all the available space, providing comfort for passengers. The interior offers the possibility of experiencing even small cruises of a few days at sea, with very brightly lit and livable spaces. Common areas include the kitchen with sink, the two double bunks, and the bathroom with separate shower. Performance is provided by the V-shaped hull designed by Michael Peters and the pair of 250-hp outboards. The new Cap Camarat is perfect as a daysailer and weekender, for those who want to enjoy day trips or a few days out, even with family or a few friends.

Antudo 23 – 6.97 m

For Italian inflatable boat manufacturers, France has always been a strategic market. With the Land of Enlightenment in mind, the new Antudo Marine shipyard is preparing to launch
Antudo 23
, of precisely 23 feet, which will debut at the Cannes 2023 boat show. This boat was created in collaboration with Alessandro Chessa of Akesdesign and is the first in a series of three boats to be launched in the coming years. Measuring 6.97 meters in length overall, the new Antudo ’23 has a double-step hull with an average deadrise of 29 degrees and is designed to maintain high speeds even in rough seas without compromising comfort and safety, even at lower speeds. Deck spaces have been exploited to the millimeter to give balance and comfort: the bow is rubberized for weight balance with a flush-fitted, heavily tapered tubular footboard-muson. The deck includes a console, a helm seat with a restraining lumbar rest, and opposing seating to complement the U-shaped aft dinette for five, two lockers and four counter-molded storage lockers, and a forward sun deck. There is also a built-in refrigerator on board while two structural and walkable swim platforms are designed around the outboard.

Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 Series 2 – 8.42 m

Comfort and versatility are at the heart of the design
Merry Fisher 895 Series 2
by Jeanneau and Centkowski & Denert, who have designed the spaces to live aboard even small family cruises. Among the innovations introduced is the modular design of outdoor spaces, allowing them to be enjoyed to their fullest functionality. In the forward cockpit we find two large modular sunbeds, which can be converted into an even larger sunbathing area. Via well-protected walkways, the fore and aft areas are connected, and here in the cockpit we find a dining table with a large L-shaped sofa, folding bench and refrigerator (optional). The boat can also be accessed from the convenient side hatch, which facilitates bathing and getting off/on from the dock. Turning to the covered spaces, we find a very large one protected by the t-top with large sliding glass French doors, which illuminate the interior to the fullest. On one side is the spacious and well-equipped kitchen area with a minibar and swivel pilot seat, while on the other side is a table with front seating. You then access below deck to the two cabins and separate bathroom, a real treat on boats of this length. Propulsion is delegated to the two outboards with up to 250 horsepower.

Renier R10 – 10.18 m

Renier 10
is the new rib that Renier presents at Cannes 2023. The market is diverse, and the R10, like most of the shipyard’s other models, is available right now in 9 different deck and propulsion outfitting variants. It goes from open outboard to inboard and Tourer and again these three versions in turn can be declined into Bowrider or Cabin variants. The first specimen will be presented in the CT (Cabin Tourer) version with outboard engines, likely to be among the most popular on the market. The cabin is designed with two comfortable beds, a small hallway with an armchair and a separate toilet with toilet and shower. At present, the maximum engine capacity planned by the shipyard is two 350-horsepower engines for the outboard version. The inboard version, on the other hand, is designed with two 430-horsepower engines. As with the rest of the range, the possibility of customization will be very high, so as to be able to please the most demanding owner. It will also be possible to install a T-top upon request, which will follow the styling lines of its predecessors.

On-water debut for Sea Ray’s new SPX 210, a 2024 model that renews Sea Ray’s design on this range and anticipates the new SPX generation. At 7.24 meters long, it displays a sporty look with a new curved windshield design for better visibility and protection of those steering the boat. It is powered by a Mercury engine, inboard version with a 250-hp 4.5L MerCruiser. The versatility of this hull makes it suitable for both fishing and water games, as well as the large aft platform provides optimal space for just swimming. The wheelhouse has a 7-inch Simrad digital display, and on board we find a Fusion Apollo SRX400 sound system with touchscreen display, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2.

Rand Roamer 28 – 8.5 m

In Danish shipyard is preparing to debut a new 28-foot “versatile” at the Cannes Boat Show that seems to smile on those more sporty and adventurous owners who want not only performance, but also versatility of use. Protected by a hard-top that combines steel, glass, and carbon, the dashboard is suitable for both the Mediterranean summer and the most demanding conditions: this is partly due to the fact that the entire structure can be almost fully enclosed with a cover that protects against the elements. The boat will be available with various layouts, depending on the type of use, from one best suited for fishing to one designed for diving or a version ideal for family use. The modularity of use of the entire cockpit is important, as is that of the bow area, where we find sundeck that can be covered by a tent. There are significant storage spaces on board, given the activities for which this hull is designed such as the large storage in the bow area, connected to the forward toilet and 5 smaller ones in the middle and aft areas plus a storage space specifically dedicated to 6 fenders.
