Cutting-edge technology, high-jewelry details, and thrilling performance. After all, the new Capelli Stradivari 52 is a flagship in its own right. Capelli Ribs has never gone that far before. It does so with this 50-footer that is neither a dinghy nor a full-fledged boat. In fact, looking at it from the outside it looks like a maxi-rib with a big tubular around it that we need, as protection when mooring or as splash protection. In practice, however, it does not actively affect navigation, so the approval is as a boat.

Livable (and finished) like a yacht, but with all the fun and freedom of a dinghy flying at 50 knots. That’s the feeling aboard this new Capelli Ribs example. At 15.5 long, it is powered by four 450-horsepower Yamaha V8 XTOs, the Japanese manufacturer’s latest generation outboards.

Yet the Stradivari is more of a Grand Tourer than a “shooting” vehicle. First of all, we notice it because of the layout marked to the utmost by convivial living and relaxation. A huge aft sundeck anticipates a central U-shaped sofa with a small table in the center that, when lowered, creates another sun deck. Protected under the T-top is the entire helm station and wet-bar area, which, as standard, comes out with a 100 + 100-liter double-drawer refrigerator, ice machine, grill cooktop and stove. We feel like we are aboard a large yacht, that’s a given, but even more “pervasive” is the feeling of being on a solid boat built with exceptional attention to detail. References to Stradivarius and the violin recur in so many elements as a tribute to Cremona’s craftsmanship heritage. A true luxury craft, but also extremely comfortable and functional for those who want to stand out but also enjoy cruising to the fullest.

Below deck we find two cabins, a master and a VIP to which we also add a bathroom with a separate shower stall for those who also imagine a longer cruise on board.
