Shipyards are trying to build increasingly spacious and comfortable boats, but not only by taking advantage of hull length. In fact, the advantage of catamarans is that they can also use the width to make maximum livable rooms.

More volume on board, more efficient therefore sustainable hulls, and all the comforts of a home on the water, starting as early as short lengths as in the case of Fountaine Pajot’s MY4.S. The multihull is the answer to the macro trends in recreational boating in recent years, and the motorboat is becoming increasingly popular. It may be that it makes moving from one place to another more practical and faster than sailing, it may be that even on an aesthetic level many steps forward have been made, the fact is that more and more brands are moving toward the motor. Inspired by traditional Hawaiian hulls, this vessel belongs to the offshore line, designed for sport fishing, but thanks to a large bow area with a U-shaped bench and tables, it is also valuable as a day-cruiser, whether with family or friends.
YOT 36 (10.92 x 3.99 m)
YOT 36 (10.92 x 3.99 m) is the first motor catamaran model unveiled by the newly formed YOT Power Catamarans shipyard, part of the French Catana Group, an expert in sailing catamarans.
Eagle 36 Sport (10.96 x 4.45 m)
Powerful day cruiser, but with space and roominess suitable for cruising as well. It features twin cabins, one per hull. With the fixed foil (optional) you enjoy 8 knots of top speed and reduce fuel consumption by 50% at cruising speed.
Catamarans up to 12 meters. TH36 (11 x 4.47 m)
The exteriors, you can tell, are exceptionally large for an 11-meter. Adding to the everlasting comfort, however, is the symmetrical pair of cabins (one per hull) that make for a nice weekend away at sea.
MY4.S (11 x 5.1 m)
MY4.S is the ultimate compact catamaran. Yet aboard it feels like a boat far larger than its 11 meters in length. This 36-footer is Fountaine Pajot‘s smallest motor catamaran. Thanks to an excellent deck layout, it offers onboard spaces that are comparable to a 45-foot powerboat. Extremely bright interior, thanks to the large window on the boat’s deckhouse.
