Cayman 540WACayman540WACayman 540WA is the new walkaround presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival by Cayman Yachts.
As many as 17 m overall for a maximum beam of 5 meters.
The width is exploited to the fullest to become one of this boat’s strong points and gives the hull, a deep V shape with a deadrise of 17°, stability at anchor and when sailing.
Stability that can be further ensured, however, by an optional gyro stabilizer.

This design aims to become a benchmark for the category in terms of habitability, both on deck and below, where there is also room for a small living room, a rarity on this size.
The layout presented boasts three cabins: the master forward, and immediately abaft the staircase leading down, two double cabins, paired to take advantage of the full width of the hull.
The galley remains in the open, behind the helm station, protected under the hard top, to serve a large table where as many as 10 people can sit comfortably, sheltered by an awning.
Toward the stern, a large sundeck, which becomes a real island on the sea, once the flaps are opened and the stern platform is lowered, hydraulic, which allows, among other things, the hauling of the tender, which finds its place in the volume obtained under the sundeck itself.
Also in the bow, between the two sundecks, a very large sundeck fades into a chaise longue facing forward.

Outboard or inboard: here’s how much it consumes

Motorization can be inboard, with a pair of Volvo Penta, available with either IPS or shaftline transmission, or with three 600-hp outboards.
The stated cruising speed, with IPS propulsion, is 28 knots with an interesting consumption of 7 liters per mile. For more information, click here
