DISCOVER GARMIN MARINE INSTRUMENTATION

The heart of on-board instrumentation

With the latest GPSMAP multifunction displays, one can control all on-board instrumentation, from radar to autopilot. In addition, cameras and thermal imaging cameras, echosounder modules, and multimedia devices can be controlled. With the two GPSMAP 8416 chartplotters, which Garmin recommends installing on a motorboat of about 18 meters, you will always have the cartography and all useful data under control while navigating. Connectivity is not an issue since in addition to the Wi-Fi and to sensors ANT integrated we find 4 Ethernet ports, one NMEA 2000 port, plus HDMI and USB ports. From the chartplotter you can choose to display useful information for navigation, mooring, anchoring or fishing by simply switching screens. From here you turn on the engine and lights, check all the lights and activate the pumps, with clear and intuitive user friendly graphics.

So you control the chartplotter from anywhere on the boat

With an ingenious option you can control all chartplotter settings with a simple remote control. In fact, using the Grid 20 you will have remote access to the entire on-board Garmin system. You can govern menu navigation using the 360-degree rotary joystick, the rotary knob, or the push-to-select button. And if that’s not enough for you, with the ActiveCaptain Android and iOS smartphone app you can connect your
