The venture was born three years ago through the combination of the experience, professionalism and expertise of Norberto Ferretti, Giuseppe Giuliani Ricci and Brunello Acampora. Now ends the adventure between Solaris Power and Norberto Ferretti.
Collaboration between Solaris Power and Norberto Ferretti ends
Within the Solaris Shipyard, famous for sailboats, the “Solaris Power” powerboat project had been included.
Several models were presented including the Solaris Power 48 Open, which won the coveted “European Power Boat of the Year 2020” award at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January. A well-deserved success given the innovation of this project.
Norberto Ferretti had initially signed, in June 2017, an agreement with Solaris Power for one year with the task of helping his friend Giuseppe Giuliani Ricci in the startup of powerboats, but then agreed to extend the collaboration to the entire 2018/2019 .
“Team Solaris” and Giuseppe Giuliani Ricci thank Norberto Ferretti for his work and successes and especially for “agreeing to join the Solaris Power team; for all of us it was a dream come true and we will greatly treasure everything we learned from one of the greatest of contemporary motor boating.”
Norberto Ferretti comments: “After a very intense 2017 and 2018, which saw us busy starting up the engine division and designing as many as 3 models, I agreed to continue for another year, but with the clear conviction that it would be my last year, given the large time commitment involved. My time with the Solaris Power Team has been three incredibly intense years that have given me the opportunity to appreciate the reality of Solaris and the effective collaboration with Giuseppe Giuliani and Brunello Acampora. It was a pleasant experience to collaborate with young designers eager to learn and thus be able to use my skills. With Giuseppe Giuliani we will always remain great friends, and I will always feel part of the “Solaris team.”
