A tribute to the companies and people who have made Barche a Motore great over these 35 years allowing it to be born, grow, and become great up to this historic anniversary. In these articles the great excellences of boating tell their stories and reveal their projects, making an important contribution to the knowledge of this world, which allows us all to go to sea, in all forms and contexts.

Thanks to the Moreno family that makes the legendary Ligurian gozzo innovative with the Patrone and Sciallino shipyards. Pictured is the shipyard’s latest addition, the new flagship Patrone 45′: this is an open cruiser designed for those who want to experience the whole day outdoors without sacrificing maximum comfort even in the interiors. It is available in 9 layouts designed by Tommaso Spadolini that offer tailor-made customization for every lifestyle on board.

A 100 percent Italian challenge that looks to the future while keeping its roots firmly in an unfading past of excellence. This is how the Moreno family proudly and responsibly carries on the tradition of Ligurian gozzo, at the helm of the two prestigious Patrone and Sciallino shipyards.

Patron

Founded more than a century ago in 1922, Patrone is a brand that has always been known for producing boats of the highest quality, capable of preserving value and style over time, as shown by the popular used boat market. A legacy that the Moreno family has made its own for over 40 years, developing its appeal on the international market, even focusing on innovation. As in the case of the Patrone 100, designed by Tommaso Spadolini for the shipyard’s centenary, under the operational direction of Gianarnaldo Moreno, who with Benedetta Moreno represents the fourth generation of the family.

It is a model that has reinterpreted the heritage in a contemporary key, as also happened with the brand new Patrone 45′, a futuristic ‘gozzo open’ equipped with incredible habitability for a 14-meter.

Sciallino

Also on the same wavelength is the production of the Sciallino shipyard, taken over by the Moreno family just ten years ago, in 2015. A decade marked by the relaunching of the brand and the construction of highly successful models such as Sciallino 30′, Sciallino 34′ Fisherman, Sciallino 25′ Sport and the most recent Sciallino 23′ Hybrid. It was precisely this that successfully initiated the electrification of the range, now allowing hybrid versions to be offered on almost all models.

High quality that lasts

The Sciallino 30′ Cabin.

Refined design and astonishing performance: the Sciallino 30′ Cabin is a 10-footer that combines comfort and versatility at its best, with a bright dinette, two cozy cabins, and a livable bathroom. All the space you need, at a speed of 28 knots.

Patrone confirms its connection to the art of living by the sea through its new summer partnership with Solaz, the refined lounge bar overlooking the enchanting Piazzetta of Porto Rafael, a mythical resort in northern Sardinia nestled between granite rocks and dreamy sea. To be discovered from June 21 through the end of August.
