The Venice Boat Show (originally scheduled for June 3-7, 2020) moves directly to the 2021 edition, in line with other leading trade shows such as the Salone del Mobile and Vinitaly.
Coronavirus, Venice Boat Show jumps to 2021
The statement reads, “The restrictions do not create the necessary conditions for the conduct of the normal activities underlying an international exhibition event. The decision to postpone the kermesse for one year, not overlapping with other similar reviews, already scheduled in Italy in the second half of the year, was chosen, in addition to obvious prudential reasons related to the health emergency, in agreement with the companies and operators of the nautical sector with the aim of creating the best conditions for the revitalization of the sector.”
In the coming months, work will continue on the infrastructuring of the Venice Arsenal, the host venue of the Boat Show, devoting attention to the reorganization of activities with a calendar of collateral initiatives, stepping stones to guarantee companies, operators and the public an edition that lives up to the name of Venice and represents an opportunity for the entire boating industry.
Therefore, the technical-organizational secretariat that can be reached via email at info@salonenautico.venezia.it remains fully operational.
The organizational machine for 2021 has already started…
