Today’s boat owner, Owner 4.0 as it is fashionable to call him, controls all the crucial functions of his boat from his phone: batteries, tanks, speed, temperature, and even preventing accidents. There is a solution at Milan Yachting Week that allows you to manage all of this. It is called Nauticoncept and it is a breakthrough in the boating world.

Here’s how Nauticoncept works

Dealers, shipyards and rental companies, shipowners: Nauticoncept offers all players in the boating industry the solution they have been waiting for. With the Nauticsafe App, boaters and boat renters can monitor their boat’s activity live. The app turns the boat into a connected boat. Boat vitals can be supervised, accidents can be prevented, and maintenance needs can be anticipated. The App also shows the route of each trip, as well as the location, distance, average speed and engine hours. Nauticoncept was created in 2016 by 4 co-founders, driven by a passion for nautical activities and new technologies.

Always attentive to market demands, the teams have developed software and electronic solutions to adapt to its every change. Applications developed by Nauticoncept can be adapted to customers’ organizations to streamline processes, manage the fleet, digitize activities, and provide quality service to boat owners and users.

Nauticoncept responds to 3 central needs of boaters and charterers: the creation of tailor-made maintenance procedures and real-time monitoring of interventions carried out by the various technicians on board; real-time surveillance of on-board systems in order to ensure their proper use; and management of check-in and check-out during a charter (photos, explanations, location of various equipment).

Nauticoncept’s services also perfectly meet the needs of shipyards, providing a valuable tool for managing and optimizing maintenance processes and communicating in real time with its customers about the work performed.

How Nauticoncept works for the shipowner

Thanks to the Nauticsafe smart sensor system, owners can constantly monitor the condition of their boat. Notifications are sent to his phone to allow him to be informed of everything happening on his boat and, therefore, to be able to react immediately accordingly. The owner can check in real time any maintenance performed on the boat, notify the shipyard of its arrival with a click, and have the boat always ready.

How Nauticoncept works for charters

With Nauticoncept you can create your own personalized digital check-ins, which include photographs taken in real time. Check-in can be done independently at the dock before departure. You will, in addition, be able to monitor the use of the boat in real time (tracking and various data from the boat) during the charter. With Nauticoncept’s Nauticsafe app, boat renters can keep an eye on their boats once they have left port.
