With the new DCPM in effect until March 5, you can finally return to your boat even if you have to move from your municipality of residence. No matter what the color of your region, one regulation in the decree matters: the one concerning second homes.
The general concept that allows us to say with certainty that you can finally reach your boat wherever it is, is that the boat is equivalent to your second home. What is in fact the boat if not a “home” on the water, a residence for one’s vacation?
The equivalent concept of second home and boat
Do not look for specific regulations that address articles of the DCPM related to recreational boating. There are no. Trust common sense and the value of the “boat=second home” concept we have just laid out for you.
What can be done to avoid falling into the traps of the DPCM
The new legislation, it should be clarified, contradicts itself because on the one hand it states that the DPCM is in effect until March 5 but then specifies that the shift between regions expires on February 15.
Here is what can be done and what cannot be done:
Can you go to second homes/boats outside the region?
Yes, and you are also allowed then to return to your residence, domicile or home.
Is it allowed to go to second homes/boats only between yellow regions, or also in orange or red regions?
There are no limits imposed by colors.
Who is allowed to go to second homes/boats with?
You can go only with your cohabiting household.
