The international D-Marin network adds two major Italian marinas to its portfolio: the Marina degli Aregai and the Marina di San Lorenzo. The two marinas, located in western Liguria just over 10 kilometers apart, are managed by the Cozzi Parodi Group and enter under a commercial agreement within the ports operated by the network.
The company founded in Greece in 2003 owns and operates ports in Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Spain, Malta and the United Arab Emirates, bringing the total number of facilities operated in Italy to five. The port giant adds to its Italian portfolio, which already contained the Marina di Punta Faro (in Lignano Sabbiadoro) and the latest additions of the Marina di Varazze in Liguria and the Marina di Livorno (announced last October), two new established establishments in Liguria.
D-Marin thus brings the total number of managed marinas to 26, with a total of over 13 thousand ber ths for mooring and over 3 thousand berths in the yard for refit and maintenance. D-Marin Group’s expansion plans do not stop there, with the network showing a strong focus on Italy by increasing the number of facilities in its portfolio from 1 to 5 in just a few months, forging important partnerships, such as the one with Azimut-Benetti.
Marina degli Aregai
It is the marina of the municipality of Santo Stefano al Mare (Imperia), and with its 961 berths for boats between 6 and 50 meters in length, it is among the main points of reference for owners of large yachts on the Riviera di Ponente. In addition to the classic services (24-hour moorings, surveillance, fuel, workshop and yard, weather service and laundry), Marina degli Aregai houses a four-star hotel-residence, equipped beaches, and a rich commercial area with a gymnasium, veterinarian, sailing and diving school, yacht club, bars and restaurants, and a soon-to-open shopping center.
Marina di San Lorenzo
Located in the smallest (namesake) municipality in the province of Imperia, the Marina di San Lorenzo has seven protected piers with 268 berths from 6 to 40 meters. In the marina we also find a hotel with spa and private beach, bars, restaurants and all useful services for the yachtsman.
