De Antonio, former partner of the America’s Cup with its E23 catamaran. (we tell you about it here), returns to the event spotlight by seizing the Boot Düsseldorf 2024 as the perfect opportunity to present a new open, a true collector’s item: the D37 Alinghi Red Bull Racing, available in a limited series of 37. How come Alinghi Red Bull Racing? Simple, the new D37 is the result of a collaboration agreement between the Spanish manufacturer and the Swiss team, an agreement that will see the D37 become the official spectator boat for this 37th America’s Cup. In short, here comes a new open De Antonio, a fully themed hull that will appeal to the many fans of the world’s most famous regatta. Let’s take a closer look at it in a preview.

Based on one of De Antonio’s most iconic hulls, in fact, the new D37 is what we might understand as the America’s Cup Collector’s Edition of the D36, i.e., a limited, redesigned and upgraded version of the D36 Open, already boat of the year in 2023. 11.50 meters long and powered by two new 400-horsepower Mercury Racing outboards, the new hull will be strictly navy blue in color, complete with red accents, thus forming the colors of the Red Bull Racing-participating Alinghi team.

Collector’s Design

“The new D37 Alinghi Red Bull Racing is a real collector’s piece,” stresses precisely Marc De Antonio, co-founder of the brand, adding how it is “designed for sailing lovers and fans of the team and the competition itself (the America’s Cup ed.). A very special model due to its finish and high performance, not to mention that it will be made available exclusively this year, in only 37 units.”

A special re-design, then, which will include exterior and interior, in addition to the new engine we have already seen. Interior and exterior then will be in a new blue-navy with red hints, a combination that will also touch the trim and furnishings, complesi steering wheel and dashboard seats, strictly in blue leather with red stitching. To match, underscoring the attitude to performance, the new D37 will also see several carbon inserts, as well as Alinghi Red Bull Racing logos inserted in several places in the re-styling.
