DAR is the mega yacht of the year. She has just triumphed the World Superyacht Awards 2019 as the best Motoryacht of the year. The 90meter DAR takes inspiration from the dream world of marine animals. It is no coincidence that the original name of the yacht was “Project Shark”. Indeed, her livery is inspired by such elegant fish and DAR has won the prize also thanks to her sleek and sexy exterior lines that, however, do not sacrifice spaces.

Dar, Mega Yacht of the Year 2019

The main deck of this mega yacht, for example, encloses a private swimming pool and a relaxation area while, on the superstructure, 400 square meters of cristal dark panels give the “shark” a streamlined unique design. Designer De Basto has divided the yacht into different areas to guarantee the best privacy to both the owner and his guests. The main deck has no exterior passerelles and this guarantees excellent privacy inside. Moreover, De Basto has defined the “ Project Shark” with huge glass surfaces that create an “uninterrupted ocean landscape”. “From the floor to ceiling – he says – windows offer an extraordinary view along with a feeling of loneliness through balconies and private terraces. This combination makes this yacht so different”. The current market value of DAR is 170 million euros. Technical specifications: DAR
